[Since the Kuranta people were primarily vegetable-eaters, seeing a farm like Astralin’s is something of a relief to Młynar. Most people around here seem to either favour fish or bread baked from the nearby mill’s wheat, meaning that he had to forage around to find something green around here. He didn’t particularly mind- he had spent years living off the land as a wanderer. Still, this made things easier.]

It seems that farming is in your blood. That didn’t take you very long at all.

[The knight has a bad habit of concealing his presence, so Astralin may not notice his arrival if he’s not paying attention. Hopefully it’s not too frightening. Młynar knows it terrified his nieces back in Kazimierz, since that sudden arrival often meant that harsh drills were about to begin.]

[The Kuranta man takes the orange, wordlessly peeling it before taking a quick bite. Fruits like these were rare, given that Kazimierz was located in the cold north. Still, he had indulged in the rare import back home- and he finds himself just as delighted this time. A silent smile spreads across the knight’s expression as he savours the citrus flavour.]

Back in Kazimierz, you’ll usually only find rich corporate types enjoying these. You spoil me, Astralin.

[Looks like Astralin is humble and polite as ever. It’s refreshing- albeit unfamiliar. Most of his companions back on Terra had very forceful personalities. Mlynar would usually consider this kind of behaviour to be suspicious flattery, but he knew the man well enough to put aside such thoughts.]

It’s quite impressive. Though I confess I know little of farming. When I wandered the land, I once vaporized some rocks to help a farmer set up a new field, but that's about the sum of it.

[Though it was one hell of a sight for the locals. Seeing boulders reduced to nothing by pillars of radiant light was a blessing in the time it saved, and something approaching a miracle for those present.]

[Astralin’s words fills Młynar’s heart with a sense of warm nostalgia. The Ori man reminds him of the farmers that had taken him in during his wandering days. They had piled kindness after kindness upon him, despite repeated reassurances that he needed no such things.]

I’m unaccustomed to staying in one place for long. But I suppose I can make an exception for someone who has been so good to me. Besides, I’ve decided that I am fond of your oranges.

[Młynar is about to follow the comment with a laugh, but is given pause by the sight of Astralin using magic without a focus. Back where in the world of Terra, the only people who could do that were afflicted with a terrible disease called oripathy, which slowly turns its victims' bodies into crystal. It catches him off guard, and the knight has to visibly collect himself, taking a deep breath and reminding himself that things are different here.]

As for the fruit, it is rare where I come from. There are tropical nations where you’ll find fruits, but my homeland of Kazimierz has rather cold and inhospitable winters that make growing fruits difficult. We have apple, blueberry, and raspberry farms, but most others are imported from abroad.

[The Kuranta man hopes that his response seemed professional and natural enough to not rouse any suspicions about his internal panic. Still, he had never been the best at keeping a poker face. His twitching ears and swishing tail often gave him away.]
