[open] JUNE CATCH ALL
Who: Astralin and you!
Where: Astralin's farm, Aldrip, and the tavern.
What: June catch all!
Warnings: None for now.
i.
[Astralin had been busy fending off monsters as best as he could. So, in the aftermath of everything, you can find him in the streets of Aldrip lingering around the injured citizens who approach him for help. Gladly offering his abilities, despite how muted his healing powers were. Still, it was the least he could do, since they were helpful to him during the building of his farm, and he sits at the edge of one of the benches, where the injured come up to him and point out where they're injured.
It's not hard work, and his hands glow momentarily to ease their pains and bruises. Luckily, not needing to actually touch them to heal them, but it does take more of his energy than usual. Although, he doesn't let that show, and he motions the next person to come toward him once he's finished with that particular person.
Feel free to approach him while he's healing people. He wouldn't mind the chat to keep up his literal spirit energy to heal these folks.]

[After healing a conga line of people, Astralin can be found relaxing on his farm with the animals. He's in the barn with one of the cows, and several chickens that had been spooked after the whole ordeal. Luckily, he seems to calm them down after a few peaceful moments of reassuring them with words and gentle touches to ease their nerves. Astralin himself rather tired after healing so many people at once, and at minimum power, but he'd live.
Once he manages to calm down his animals, you can now find him in the middle of the fields, where he uses his awfully large scythe to cut down any weeds that surround the fields. His eyes looking heavy, but again, he doesn't let it bother him in the slightest. It was his job to help the people, so he'd do just that. Not to mention, the fields wouldn't work themselves. He'd have to do it anyway, despite his slowly looming exhaustion.]
b.
[Alternatively, after all his hard work, he can be found at the tavern enjoying a nice beer, and a large tray of. Well. Vegetables. Since the man hardly ate meat. He looks very tired at this point, but he's enjoying his platter of vegetables, and his ale in hand.]

[Yeah. Good, and not-good at the same time. Ken shouldn't be here, not where there are magical forces that could cause them to lose control of their Personas, and Ken hadn't committed any crimes. Not really. Sure, maybe the law would see it differently, but that wasn't an important measure about that kind of thing.
But she'd be lying if she didn't say she wasn't happy to see him. Well. Mostly happy. She hasn't quite figured out all the emotions she's supposed to feel about Ken being older than she remembers. That he lived a life after she died.
Anyway. Astralin had asked a question.]
He's really mature and serious. Oh, he's younger than me. Last I remember, he was ten, but now he's almost fourteen, I think. His birthday's coming up, if I remember right... [Her smile softens somewhat as she gazes down at the cookie dough under her fingers.] He's a good kid.
no subject
I see. Then he must come from a different time than you... How very interesting.
[Unconsciously, he takes another sip of his tea. The frown on his face quickly shifting off into a soft smile at the mention of his birthday.]
Well, if he is as pleasant are you and Shinjiro are... I would do not mind if you want to invite him here for his birthday. You are more than welcome to use the kitchen and living room as you please.
no subject
[Time is funny that way. But she brightens when he says she can invite him over -- if her hands weren't covered in sugar cookie dough, she'd clap them together. As it is, she gives him a bright, genuine smile of relief.]
Really? Thank you! I'd like you to meet him, too. He's... really important to me.
I was thinking it could be fun to bring a couple people over? Akira, Goro, and Violet-san. Is that too many people...? I promise if we make a lot of noise, I'll kick everybody outside.
no subject
Ah, that is quite alright. As I said before, you are free to use the living room and kitchen as you please. My children back home would have sleep overs all the time, so I am used to it. I will make myself scarce, but I will be upstairs should you need me.
[He doesn't want her to think that's too many people, and he simply shakes his head.]
I do not believe I am familiar with the three. Are they of the same age as you?
no subject
[Haha except she also is from like five years in their past. Time really is just a construct these days, huh. No need to get into all of that, though, so she just shrugs and keeps mixing the dough with her hands.]
What're your kids like...? I don't think you've told me anything about them before.
no subject
[What the hell is that? Oh well, he doesn't really question it, and he simply curves his lips into a smile as she asks that question. The back of his hand running across his hair as he begins to think about his children back home. They certainly were fully grown now, and he even had grandchildren but he doesn't hesitate to speak.]
Ah... Alexander, the eldest one, is a bit... Of a menace, as some children would describe him. He is very similar to his mother, and will say things without prompt, no matter how harsh. Alexander has a very good heart, however. A man of honor.
My second son, Julien, is very similar to myself. He is on the quieter side, and will only speak when he chooses to. However, he is steadfast in his ideals, and a noble man at heart.
My third child is my half child, Sophia. She is very similar to Alexander, and the two of them are quite... Destructive when they are together and causing mischief. But she is a sweet girl, also very similar to my wife.
Lastly, my other half daughter, Camille, takes up after my husband. She is rather serious, and headstrong, but she is a polite young lady. Perhaps I could show you a picture of them sometime, but I do not have one. Only one of my husband and wife.
no subject
It sounds... nice. Having a family with siblings like that. Her lips curve into a soft smile as she nods along, trying to commit at least their names to memory, just in case she ever meets them.]
Maybe you'll get a picture someday! [she offers as she sets the rolling pin down with a clunk and moves to grab her jar of cookie cutters.] I've gotten a lot of random stuff from back home, but the first thing I ever got was a picture of my team. I'd love to see it if you ever get one.
[She tosses him a smile over her shoulder.]
I bet you're a good dad, Astralin-san.
no subject
Oh? Will you not show me a picture of your team when you are finished with your cookies? They must... Be very special to you -- like family, hm?
[Kotone's kindness never fails to make him smile, and his free hand reaches out to pat her head.]
Mm... Perhaps. My father was a great father, and I took what I could from him to help during parenthood. It was hard, but a fun experience... With every child.
[He remembers Kotone's old past though, and he can't help but worry a bit though.]
But when I do get that picture, I will be more than happy to show you.

[Her attempt at sounding annoyed fails almost immediately when she laughs. There's just something funny about a guy hundreds of years older and more than half a meter taller than she is sneaking a corner of cookie dough like a child. While it's a sugar cookie dough, it's not overly sweet, with the primary flavor being vanilla with a hint of almond.
She ducks her head at the pat and laughs again, smile tinged with just the smallest hint of sadness.]
Yeah, I'd be happy to. I miss them a lot, but... it's better that most of them aren't here, I think. I still don't know what to think now that Ken-kun's here...
no subject
While I must admit, my stay here as not been as bad as it could be, for now, I too am grateful that my spouses have yet to appear. But I do believe that everything will be alright. Perhaps his charge is false, and perhaps... Whoever brought us here will appear, and I could perhaps blast them to pieces for bringing us all here.
[Ok maybe he shouldn't be saying that.]
Whatever the case, we must face it, and we will do so together.
no subject
[She's firm about that. Ken would fight her on it, but he also doesn't deserve to be punished for it, either. He's already punished himself enough in her opinion. More than enough.
But Astralin still makes her laugh again, a little gratefully as she glances back to him.]
I wanna see you blast them into pieces. So you gotta make sure I'm there before we destroy them, okay? Together.
no subject
Together, then, my dear.
[He laughs under his breath, even though the thought of her getting into trouble or fighting alongside him does make him anxious. However, he's also certain that she's quite capable in battle, and he just has to remember that.]
Shinjiro mentioned that you fight things called 'Shadows'... I did not know monsters roamed in your world.
no subject
[Oh... that's equal parts a surprise and a relief. If Shinji talked about it, that means he doesn't think they need to keep it a secret from Astralin. Not that she was really planning or thinking about that per se, but it tends to be annoying and complicated to explain, so she tends to just Not.
But she nods in confirmation.]
Not all the time. As far as I know, it's only at night. Me and my team would fight them -- Aragaki-senpai and Ken-kun, and some others.
