[open] JUNE CATCH ALL
Who: Astralin and you!
Where: Astralin's farm, Aldrip, and the tavern.
What: June catch all!
Warnings: None for now.
i.
[Astralin had been busy fending off monsters as best as he could. So, in the aftermath of everything, you can find him in the streets of Aldrip lingering around the injured citizens who approach him for help. Gladly offering his abilities, despite how muted his healing powers were. Still, it was the least he could do, since they were helpful to him during the building of his farm, and he sits at the edge of one of the benches, where the injured come up to him and point out where they're injured.
It's not hard work, and his hands glow momentarily to ease their pains and bruises. Luckily, not needing to actually touch them to heal them, but it does take more of his energy than usual. Although, he doesn't let that show, and he motions the next person to come toward him once he's finished with that particular person.
Feel free to approach him while he's healing people. He wouldn't mind the chat to keep up his literal spirit energy to heal these folks.]

[After healing a conga line of people, Astralin can be found relaxing on his farm with the animals. He's in the barn with one of the cows, and several chickens that had been spooked after the whole ordeal. Luckily, he seems to calm them down after a few peaceful moments of reassuring them with words and gentle touches to ease their nerves. Astralin himself rather tired after healing so many people at once, and at minimum power, but he'd live.
Once he manages to calm down his animals, you can now find him in the middle of the fields, where he uses his awfully large scythe to cut down any weeds that surround the fields. His eyes looking heavy, but again, he doesn't let it bother him in the slightest. It was his job to help the people, so he'd do just that. Not to mention, the fields wouldn't work themselves. He'd have to do it anyway, despite his slowly looming exhaustion.]
b.
[Alternatively, after all his hard work, he can be found at the tavern enjoying a nice beer, and a large tray of. Well. Vegetables. Since the man hardly ate meat. He looks very tired at this point, but he's enjoying his platter of vegetables, and his ale in hand.]

[Although not a large man, he does shift to the side to make room for her. Strangers normally making him anxious, but if Leanne was a fellow healer, he certainly had no anxiety issues around her. In his mind, they were already similar, and it's easy to feel comfortable around that.]
I appreciate your words, but ah...
[A little girl approaches them with light cuts and bruises. Alongside her, is her brother, who seems to have the same injuries.]
Just a little longer. Then I will rest my head against this wall for a bit. For now...
[He motions the little girl to go toward Leanne, while the brother approaches Astralin with small sniffles.]

in a small rippling aura of magic, the cuts and bruises start to fade from the little girl's skin.]
There now... be careful on those old injuries, okay? It'll open right up again if you don't take care of it for a few hours.

... Might I ask where your magic comes from? Your own energy, or...?
[He's. Very curious. He hasn't seen anyone's healing abilities in action yet, so he's curious as to where people draw their restorative magic from.
It could either be very bad, or very good.]

I channel it from the ground and plant life around me. Take some of its' life to heal others.
[the child she's looking at has a sprained wrist and a few scrapes and cuts... nothing horrible, at least.]
It's only temporary, though. If I don't use all of its life, a plant or the ground that I borrow the energy from recuperates quickly. Minor injuries like this? They don't take much energy.

Ah, good to know. I was perhaps wondering if the plants on my farm would be affected or not, but I do not mind either way. As long as it is to help the greater good.
[He uses his own life energy for this sort of thing, but he can easily gain it back by just sleeping.]
I do not take from a plant's life, but my own. However, it is nothing that some sleep will fix at the end of the day.
[He can hear one of the women gasp at his little admittance, but she's at ease when he mentions the last bit.]
Are you with Ethlyn's group of healers?

My reach won't take from your crops. [she investigates her next child, a little boy with a severely sprained ankle.] For things like this... the damage is fairly minimal. Think of it as a plant wilting in the heat of the day -- it'll recover overnight with or without water to help it along.
[she looks back up after she's done with the boy and he trots off before she could give a warning to him. she notes that he'll probably be back later, when he's aggravated his ankle again.]
I don't ride with her, but I've been getting to know her and have helped her out a little as well through all this. [the look she gives him is more evaluative at his admittance about his life force.] Life magic, in my experience, comes with a price when used in excess, though. Please be careful.

[For once, Astralin gets a break in between patience. His back pressed against the wall, as he straightens himself out to get a better look at what Leanne was doing as well. His eyes staring directly at the sprained ankle, not being able to help but frown a bit. The monster certainly having done it's damage on the townspeople.
BUT THEN THE KID JUST TROTS OFF, and Astralin can't HELP but frown even deeper. Still, he can't say anything, now that the kid has run off.]
I am sure that the plants do not mind if that is the case. We are doing minimal healing, as you said.
[There's a pause, and he can't help but chuckle a bit.]
Yes, unfortunately. However, I did not use such caution when I was healing soldiers during the war. They would be brought to me at the brink of death, and I would use quite a bit of my strength to heal them. However, it is nothing that rest cannot help. Which... I will most likely need after this.
I did not catch your name, by the way. I am Astralin. Astralin Turnont.
