[ While he's had quite the introduction to the science of injections by now, it's still foreign enough to him that he can't predict how any of his drugs would work injected as opposed to ingested; experimental as he may be, there are limits to his willingness to potentially poison himself. Injections are quick, simple, effective but as he sees it, a great danger for things he hasn't yet tested. ]
If I had to guess, I'd say a smaller dose would be fine, but I wouldn't be too eager to test that hypothesis out on myself, if you catch my drift. I would dip my arrows in it on a battlefield, but it's a much smaller dose.
[ He looks questioningly at her as though to ask: should we just shoot her? It's the more violent option by far, but safer for everyone involved, and if this really is an evil doppelganger... Claude abhors violence as a rule, but he won't weep over an itty bitty arrow wound or two. ]
