[training mingle] Let's get down the business!
Who: Everyone out there!
Where: Outskirts of the Aldrip - Training Grounds
What: It's time for the Boot(y) Camp! The Chosen of Aldrip have all been invited to train, learn and spar!
Warnings: Other than the general violence? TBA..!
It is early morning on the 9th of September. The sun is shining, the air is fresh and nicely brisk, which means that it is just perfect time for Aldrip's first ever group training! How did you find your way there? Who knows! Maybe you were one of the people who saw the original announcement on the network, or noticed posters about it around Adlrip. Or maybe you were brought here by friendly white boar. Well, whatever the reason is what matters is that you are here. Welcome.
The empty field near the outskirts of the City has been transformed into a makeshift training camp. There are couple of tents set up around the camp. Some of them work as rather simplified armories containing pretty limited amount of blades, axes, armors, firearms, bows and arrows and what have you. Feel free to pick your poison, so to speak, but be sure to return what you borrow. Richard is keeping an eye on the weapons and will notice if something goes missing. Of course, characters are more than welcomed to use their own weapons and armors etc. Other tents are for resting, ER practice and dining. The lunch is sponsored by the Sandwich Hut.
The official training areas and their respective teachers/staff are the following:
Spiritual training/magic: Kurama, Douman, Kakashi
First-aid: Ethlyn, Morph, Bones
Rescue training: Morph, Bones
Hand-to-hand combat:Jirk Jim & Spock, Kakashi
Tech support:Jirk Jim & Spock
Fire arms: Caitlyn, Levi
Swords & Melee: Richard, Hiei
Archery: Richard
Survival skills: Richard, Kurama
Military training: Jim & Spock, Miller, Richard
Endurance training: Bones
Lunch: Junpei (and Whitey the Albino Boar)
If there is an activity a character would like to do that isn't included in the list that's no problem. Feel free to create your own top-level with said activity or you know! Just the usual stuff that varies from silly hang-out to whatever your heart desires.
Also for references sake: here is the OG ooc info post about regarding the mingle

[Morph finally rests back on the ground, more or less placated that Richard wasn't going to try cutting off their legs just to make dragging them around easier.]
So, moving someone is easier if you have a buddy. When you're on your own, there's a few things to remember. Don't do a bridal carry! It's very romantic, but you can't see your own feet and it's an easy way to trip. Grabbing someone under the arms and dragging them along with you works as long as you're not worried about what's behind you. Or if you have a blanket, you can roll the victim into that and use it to drag them along a lot easier.
If you need to outright carry someone... if the victim's conscious, there's one called a pack strap carry. You get the victim's arms over your shoulders, cross their arms over your chest, and hold onto their wrists as you lift them up by leaning forward. It can be uncomfortable, but that one might work the best for you.
[Since Richard has such a thin build, Morph didn't think the actual firefighter carry would work out for him. Hoisting a bigger person over your shoulders usually didn't end well.]

Richard is painfully aware that he's no more than a fish out of water here. His every waking moment only reinforces the knowledge that he does not belong here, not with these people. But then again, what is new? Richard doesn't belong anywhere, not in his own world, not in Aldrip. But at least in England he had learned how to blend in and hide in plain sight, deceiving any looks that might come his way.
In here, however? It's an uphill battle, near impossible. All because he couldn't embody what these people considered 'modern.']
I am familiar with these techniques, yes. [He nods, keeping his expression reserved. Richard had been carried away in similar manner before by his knight, who would always come to save him from the aftermath of battle.
And well! Seeing that Morph is still laying down on the ground Richard just proceeds to demonstrate that he isn't as primitive as the other person might think. He moves to crouch properly next them and reaches to grab them by wrists. It's always a struggle for him to move a body that is bigger than him, sure, but it's nothing he can't do.]

Great! Show me what you got.
[Morph remains limp, letting Richard move them around as he wanted. Hopefully it wouldn't be too awkward that they were conscious, but being in the victim position was a great way to give pointers. Half of this stuff was making sure the rescuer wouldn't throw their back out in the process, so Morph is content to let him do it at his own pace.]
