Who: Everyone out there!
Where: Outskirts of the Aldrip - Training Grounds
What: It's time for the Boot(y) Camp! The Chosen of Aldrip have all been invited to train, learn and spar!
Warnings: Other than the general violence? TBA..!



It is early morning on the 9th of September. The sun is shining, the air is fresh and nicely brisk, which means that it is just perfect time for Aldrip's first ever group training! How did you find your way there? Who knows! Maybe you were one of the people who saw the original announcement on the network, or noticed posters about it around Adlrip. Or maybe you were brought here by friendly white boar. Well, whatever the reason is what matters is that you are here. Welcome.

The empty field near the outskirts of the City has been transformed into a makeshift training camp. There are couple of tents set up around the camp. Some of them work as rather simplified armories containing pretty limited amount of blades, axes, armors, firearms, bows and arrows and what have you. Feel free to pick your poison, so to speak, but be sure to return what you borrow. Richard is keeping an eye on the weapons and will notice if something goes missing. Of course, characters are more than welcomed to use their own weapons and armors etc. Other tents are for resting, ER practice and dining. The lunch is sponsored by the Sandwich Hut.

The official training areas and their respective teachers/staff are the following:

Spiritual training/magic: Kurama, Douman, Kakashi
First-aid: Ethlyn, Morph, Bones
Rescue training: Morph, Bones
Hand-to-hand combat: Jirk Jim & Spock, Kakashi
Tech support: Jirk Jim & Spock
Fire arms: Caitlyn, Levi
Swords & Melee: Richard, Hiei
Archery: Richard
Survival skills: Richard, Kurama
Military training: Jim & Spock, Miller, Richard
Endurance training: Bones
Lunch: Junpei (and Whitey the Albino Boar)

If there is an activity a character would like to do that isn't included in the list that's no problem. Feel free to create your own top-level with said activity or you know! Just the usual stuff that varies from silly hang-out to whatever your heart desires.

[Fauna was staying at the food, but may have ended up drifting around a bit... enough so that this kid seemed to think she was part of his class. She just lifts her sandwich up, to indicate she's not part of the training here.]

Besides, I'm amazed some brat could be a teacher. Or is this one of those things where you just used magic to look young, or something?

Why would I bother doing 'actual work'? Should I sit here and pretend a kid can teach me anything?

So you're a fool as well as lazy.

[he's being kind of rude, but then again....so is she. get what you put in and all that.]

If you don't want to be taught by a kid, you should try another station.

[yeah, she's definitely not being polite about it, but at the same time... Why the hell is a kid here?]

But even if I'm an idiot, I know a kid shouldn't be here in the first place. Teaching fighting? A brat like you shouldn't know the first thing about fighting.

[Not "doesn't", but "shouldn't". Kids shouldn't be here. Kids shouldn't have so much experience that they can teach others.]

[he's so tired of getting treated differently just because of his age. he's a seasoned veteran dammit. back home had problems but at least he was treated like an adult.]

[She has forgotten about her sandwich already, the horror in her voice clear.]

Twelve. [he says flatly, no inflection in his voice.] You don't have to sound so shocked. It's relatively normal where I'm from.

Wh- You were in actual battles when you were six?! The hell kind of place is that normal?!

[The tinting to her eyes is changing, flickering between her normal brown, and red and yellow. She clenches her hand down- Shit, definitely just ruined her sandwich, but she's trying to keep her arm from transforming just from the horror of what she's hearing.]

Like hell I'm just going to "calm down" if there's a place that that's normal.

If there's a world that thinks children should be fighting for their lives... That a six-year-old brat should be hurting others and getting hurt... That kind of a world, I'll destroy it with my own hands!

[kakashi sighs. he had expected to get a little pushback because of his age, but nothing like this.]

And how are you going to do that? I can't even get back there, and I've been trying.

[Unfortunately, she's so angry, she can't maintain her human state.

Her right arm transforms, her clothes melding at the elbow into a gray, armored forearm and hand.]

If it brought you here, then there's a connection. If there's a connection, there's a way to follow it.

[kakashi takes a cautious step back, now wondering if she's planning to attack him.]

You'd think that. But as far as I know nobody's been able to get back to their home worlds.

[She isn't! Kids should be protected, not attacked.

... Funny how things never work out that way, though.]

Yeah, but that was before everything started breaking, wasn't it?

Regardless, I like my world the way it is. No need for destruction.

[not that he thinks she really could. unless she's much stronger than she looks, she probably couldn't tangle with minato-sensei or sandaime-sama and win. probably.]

And those people let a kid fight their battles for them?

[Unfortunately, power is all she has going for her. Her wish was for a just world... but even the Goddess couldn't give her the power to outright destroy and remake a world. She just has to do it the old-fashioned way.]

It's not like I'm a one man army. I work together with my comrades.

[some of whom are kids, and some of whom aren't.]

Some people are born to be civilians. I was born to be a ninja. That's just how the world works.

[Her other arm transforms- But she quickly forces it back to normal.]

Like hell. Adults can do that shit. You weren't "born" to do anything- A kid's worries should just be about school and friends, not killing people.

[he's trying to be patient here, but the topic is starting to irritate him.]

Look, do you have any interest in "magic" stuff or not? That's the whole reason I'm here. To teach you things about jutsu.
