The Last Drop Grand Opening
Who: Whoever would like to attend the grand opening mingle at the Last Drop
Where: Entertainment District – The Last Drop
What: The grand opening of the night club / bar
Warnings: Alcohol and low-level drugs

The Last Drop opens big and loud with neon lights and music that booms from within to be heard from the streets. There are two large bouncers at the door, but they were allowing people in very freely on this night until the room was at capacity then there would be a line. The bouncers only stop those who are already three-sheets to the wind and could cause trouble, but otherwise, they are there to break up trouble as the night wears on.
Inside, there was smoke machines, flashing lights, loud music and the drinks were flowing to anyone that wanted. There was plenty of dancing, some dart boards along the walls, a jukebox, tables and booths for patrons to have drinks and discuss business.
There are stairs that lead up to a second floor to one side of the bar, lights on the stairs. There were people lounging on the stairs and it seemed to be ‘employees only’. Patrons were allowed the lounge there as well if they were tired of dancing or the tables or booths were occupied.

[ not with too much force, she grips onto the other girl's chin to ensure they will not break any contact by any means while she continues to speak her mind. ]
I've tried being your friend, I've tried to take you in as one of my own, and I've tried to help you let loose and have fun. But all you seem care about is trying to get me to follow the rules and to submit to the damn Council. You don't want to understand me, you want to stop me from being me.

But she's still going to damn well try, considering how awkward she is with physical contact in the first place. ]
I want us to survive!
[ Maybe it's not the full truth.
But it only isn't because Ange doesn't count herself among that 'us.' Jinx, though? Sure, if Ange can help it, she'd like the other to survive. Even if she doesn't understand Jinx at all, it's not like she actively wants the other girl to die. Same goes for anyone else in this stupid place. ]
That's not the same as submitting. [ She'd ask are you crazy in any other circumstance, but Ange knows at least that a line like that ought to be sensitive enough to Jinx that - for once - she bites her tongue, swallowing the words before they can spit them out. She isn't here to sling barbs. Not right now. ] Besides, how am I your biggest issue with that? There's way more people in this place who are far bigger goody-two-shoes than me!
[ Surely she isn't the only one who's ever told Jinx to chill just a little bit. She can't imagine that. Unless others are just outright ignoring her altogether, finding engagement here to be too big of a pain. ]
But, sure, god forbid someone looks out for the people around them, huh?!

Yeah, they are other wimps around here, but you're the one who's nipping at my heels the most. About everything. And I'll say it one more time, you don't see me as a friend, so how are you looking out for me? If I didn't know any better, I'm sure you hate my guts. Not that I care.

[ The frustration is audible in her voice, though Ange's body language grows slightly less combative now Jinx is no longer touching her face, at least. ]
Because I'm the person around here who's known for involving myself with people I hate. Just my favorite activity in the world. [ She thought she made it pretty clear to most people that Ange won't bother to talk if she doesn't feel like it, after all. Socializing is enough of a nightmare by itself, let alone having to do it when it isn't even necessary. ]
You're the one who's acting all weird out of the blue and assuming the worst possible scenario over nothing! Are you forgetting I went out of my way to try and save you back in that stupid maze or something?! Do you think I was doing that because I thought it was fun?

[ she waves her hand dismissively over the whole conversation, before quaffing down her drink until it's entirely empty. and when it is, jinx tosses it behind her shoulder, and then it shatters into tiny shards of itself over the bar's floors. ]
I'm getting another drink.
[ the blue haired girl mutters, then sidesteps away from the other to waltz her way to the bar. ]

But right now-- She doesn't feel like it. This sure was a social situation that Ange wasn't prepared for, and it's drained her battery like no one else could. Why does Jinx even have to be like this, anyway? Doesn't she see that Ange was trying to help her - and then she's getting all pissy about it? It's frustrating and hurtful at the same time, and of course a girl with literally no social experience like her doesn't know how to deal with it.
So even though she figures Jinx wasn't going to come back anyway, Ange quickly moves through the crowd away from there to find a relatively more quiet spot in the bar - just trying to recover from all of that. ]
