The Last Drop Grand Opening
Who: Whoever would like to attend the grand opening mingle at the Last Drop
Where: Entertainment District – The Last Drop
What: The grand opening of the night club / bar
Warnings: Alcohol and low-level drugs

The Last Drop opens big and loud with neon lights and music that booms from within to be heard from the streets. There are two large bouncers at the door, but they were allowing people in very freely on this night until the room was at capacity then there would be a line. The bouncers only stop those who are already three-sheets to the wind and could cause trouble, but otherwise, they are there to break up trouble as the night wears on.
Inside, there was smoke machines, flashing lights, loud music and the drinks were flowing to anyone that wanted. There was plenty of dancing, some dart boards along the walls, a jukebox, tables and booths for patrons to have drinks and discuss business.
There are stairs that lead up to a second floor to one side of the bar, lights on the stairs. There were people lounging on the stairs and it seemed to be ‘employees only’. Patrons were allowed the lounge there as well if they were tired of dancing or the tables or booths were occupied.

Though, he's not entirely sure what to think of the very obvious and evident possessiveness and jealousy that Jinx was hiding behind her words. It would make more sense to him if this attitude was shown from father, as it was the job of a good parent to guide their child through the complicated society and the different social rules. It was essential especially for a father to protect their daughter from unwanted attention and friendships. But it seems like the roles had gotten mixed up between these two.
(Richard, you are the last person to judge anyone for having daddy complex)
When Jinx quickly turns her attention to an empty space next to them Richard only follows her gaze with his own eyes. He, clearly, can't see anything there but that doesn't prevent the uneasiness and dread hanging above his head. So, there is another spirit among us? It seems like Silco had spoken to truth when he had mentioned his daughter bearing the same curse as Richard.
All he hopes is that the spell won't spread like a curse and draw out his own demons.]
Your doubts are misplaced, lady Jinx. I have shared a conversation with Silco before, yes. Just like most of people in this establishment. Also, you really are underestimating your own influence. I have heard your name passed from lip to lip in the darkness of the docks.

so why doesn't he sit right with her? it's not as if he is vash's brother, who silco believed had some kind of potential, and yet the guy was completely out of his mind, and very unstable. and richard isn't akechi either, who is slimy and might seek out to harm her father again because.... — actually, jinx isn't too sure why he assaulted silco in the first place. because he's weird? for attention? jealous of his success?
whatever the case may be, richard doesn't seem to fit the bill of him. and it's not like she doesn't want her father to have friends, otherwise, she wouldn't have created his okcindr profile to help him seek for potential suitors. besides, she is fond of miller and believes he is the perfect companion for silco. both funny old men who can reminisce about the glory days of their youth...or....work. and vash, is another individual, she has no quarrel with the two conversing. is it because vash and miller were essentially hand-picked by her and richard emerged out of nowhere? is it because she got to know the other two first before silco met them? or maybe.... she is just overthinking again. ]
[ blowing hot air through her nostrils, the blueberry haired girl slips off the stool and marches grimly to the other — her steps moving in a bizarre teeter-totter sway. her pinks study his face, then his jawline, then his shoulders, and down to the rest of him; like a vulture inspecting over their meal if it's worth a taste or to search for something meatier. ]

Okay.
[ she says, voice sweet, but the word gushes way off course from her tongue.]
Guess you got me there ♪.
