Where: Roof of the club building
What: Teenagers with abilities or maybe no real abilities hanging out on the rooftop and eating food. Talking. Doing club stuff.
Warnings: Probably none.


[Maybe you're already part of TWAT club and read the message that Scott sent out to everyone, basically stating that they're having a meeting this Saturday to just hang out and meet new members. Or you saw one of the flyers around town that mentioned about having a meeting. Either way, the meeting is held at the rooftop of the club building, so just come. No food or anything required. He's a good leader like that, yeah. Definitely.]

[Why did you come early, god.

Well, anyone that is one of those people that like to come early to events, Scott's putting you to work. Maybe it's just helping getting the food out on the tables, or bringing up chairs or tables up to the rooftop. Either way, work needs to be done and setup is still in progress, so pair up with other TWAT members or whatever to get things ready. Thanks, Scott appreciates it. Probably.

Also, if you have your own food or brought a game of some sort, that's cool. He definitely isn't going to say no. Go set that up.]

just hanging out;
[Once the meeting starts and Scott gives some basic speech and welcoming new people to TWAT Club (in which he wasn't nervous at all shut up), people are more than welcome to just eat the pretty decent spread laid out in the tables. Stuff like chips, pizza, rice balls, ramen, probably some mixture of American and Japanese food because he's him and his girlfriend is Kotone, so yeah. There's also a little sign or note in front of the tables that states 'provided by cooking club, so join us. ✨'

Since this is a place filled with teenagers and abilities... Scott probably has encouraged people to show off their powers a little. JUST DON'T BLOW SOMETHING UP it's okay, he's talking about himself too. Of course, he's not forcing anyone to show off their powers and everything, but he sort of hopes people are feeling more comfortable to do so. That is the purpose of his club and everything.

There's also a random cornhole game set up. Don't ask.]

after club;
[Feel like being a nice person and help clean up? Nice. Scott isn't forcing anyone to stay after to do so, but he appreciates the help. It's mostly just taking tables down and clearing out the trash. Anyone that stays can probably take home some of the leftovers. So, that's a nice bonus.

Maybe you just want to sit on the ground and enjoy the evening a little. He's not judging.]

a. just hanging out

[Yosuke does bring out Susano-o pretty quickly with the encouragement of doing so. after doing some windy boy things, showing off his Persona's moves and everything... but he of course ends up with the food.

he's trying a little bit of everything. he starts with the American food, considering he has that a little less than everything else on the table, even if it's readily available here. but he'll always stick to what he knows if he doesn't make himself branch out.

Susano-o is still hanging around, as he hasn't dismissed him yet. he might be lounging up against the wall, watching everything with some sort of interest.]

b. after club

[Yosuke will, of course, help take everything down. he had been a little late after all, so he hadn't been able to help set up. it's the least he could do, since it looks like they'd put a lot of effort into the beginning.

after he's done with all that, he's going to be found lounging on one of the chairs, tilted back against the wall as he swings his legs. he's not really ready to go home yet... so he's just going to hang out a little while longer.]

[They were opposites. Because Naoto was mostly avoiding the party, not showing any powers.

She also only went for one dish. The California rolls. She'd reappear at the table, grab a roll or two and dart back into hiding. But she'd occasionally stumble. That pollen was messing her up.

Eventually, they'd both end up at the table at the same time.]

[Yosuke can't help but grin at her. he may be overcompensating a little bit because of the drama with Mikey right now... but he's not going to mention that here, right now.]

It's fun. I like showing off my Persona.

[he watches her pick up food for a moment..]

[Naoto still had no intention of showing her powers. Even if most here had them, it seemed best to keep them up her sleeve. She didn't see how it was fun.

...Though the wind was helping to keep the pollen at bay. Would she tell Yosuke this? No. Especially not after what he'd just said.]

I'm not! I wouldn't have shown up if I was that...Though I do have a good reason if I'd not turned up. [Huffing at the end. Yes, she was sulky.]

[he can't help but grin even more when he hears the huff in her voice. it's always kind of funny, seeing some of the cracks in her demeanor.]

Yeah? Even introverted people can end up in groups of people. And who's to say that you're not just finding some investigative fun in watching everyone else show off?

I wonder why your Persona is different here. Even with the other worlds, it's odd.

[Maybe it's sort of an asshole thing to do to poke at Yosuke about Yu and Mikey. He doesn't fully get the whole thing they have between each other, or if Yosuke even likes Mikey, but. Best to check on him anyway? Maybe prod a little more about Yu as well, even though he's talked to the teen already. Just another opinion or whatever.

So, Scott walks up to him, one hand out as he waves, looking just a little serious, despite the fact that TWAT Club is supposed to be fun and everything. At least he waited until after everything was mostly over?]

Yeah, I wasn't able to get my ass over here earlier... so the least I could do is help clean up.

[there'd been a combination of work and laziness in there somewhere, where he wanted to sit and lounge for a bit before walking some more through the city.]

It's cool, a lot of people showed up earlier.

[All these assholes showing up early, god. OVERACHIEVERS. Scott really put them to work, because it's what they wanted. He had to do less and they did more and so everyone won.]

Yeah. [Scott acknowledges slightly, his gaze temporarily leaving Yosuke to look at the mostly cleared out roof. It was nice having everyone around. Be normal and stuff just for a little bit.] ...How you are holding up?

[He asks after a moment, before returning his attention to the other teen. It may seem like a random question, but. Mikey and Yu.]

Yosuke isn't surprised. Scott seems to care a lot about the whole... situation ship they have going on in that dojo. it's nice that he has their back, though.]

Yeah, I'm fine. Yu is... a little less so, but he'll be okay, too.

[and he'll be more okay once Yu is more okay.]

I wasn't really expecting all of that to just... happen.

[Not too surprising to hear. Yu not doing Great, but guess handling it in his own way. Scott can't help but think that he's only doing as okay as he is because Yosuke is there with him, supporting him and stuff. Despite the whole thing with the hot springs and Yosuke being... Yosuke sometimes, he really is a pretty good dude.

Of course, he doesn't want to something as sappy as that, even as he buries his hands inside the pockets of his jacket.]

...Yeah, felt like it came out of nowhere. [Mikey's message and then disappearance. He's still pretty pissed at the other teen, but no use taking it on Yosuke. That's between him and the gang leader.]

We'll figure out what's going on. Kick Mikey's ass if we have to.

[ Mitsuru is honestly a little incredulous to learn that the perverted lurker from the hot spring all those months back has a Persona. But then again, so does Iori...

She observes all of his "windy boy" antics in a manner reminiscent of someone who had just watched a puppy crack the Enigma code or something. Then, once he's done showing off: ]

[ That really shouldn't sound all that condescending except it kind of does. Oops. ]

[... there's a long silence as Yosuke freezes when he hears Mitsuru. and then he turns around, looking at her.

[he laughs nervously, rubbing the back of his head.]

[ She gazes at him a moment with a stare that could freeze a pair of balls off... a pointed look, before continuing. ]

My Persona specialises in ice magic.

[ Y'know, just in case he had somehow forgotten his time as an ice sculpture. ]

[he feels his balls shrivel up with cold right the fuck now. goosebumps form on his visible skin too, as if he remembers.]

Oh... that... makes a whole lot of sense.

[ They know a lot of the same people, it's not hard to put two and two again. ]

Quite literally, in fact, as she's bypassing some of the crowd for food by crawling on the ceiling, and sure is going to use her web to dangle down and grab what she wants. And hey, since Yosuke is in the middle of filling his plate, she's going to ask his thoughts.]

[he hadn't really noticed her literally crawling on the ceiling, but he is going to notice that she literally just came out of fucking nowhere.]

[his whole body jerks in reaction, which ends up with his snacks falling back onto the table.]

The ceiling? [Gwen says this like it's the most obvious thing, but it's honestly hilarious to see the shock and surprise on his face. She can't pull this on Peter, so she has to enjoy it where she can.]

Sorry? [She's really not sorry, she's just saying it to make him feel better. And now that she's right side up per gravity's sake, she's going to shoot her webbing towards the plates to pull one to her, then start loading it up. Before was just taste testing.]

Spider-Powers, duh. Or was that not obvious? My bad. [she's really giving him a hard time, but it's funny. it feels pretty obvious, what with her entire vibes.]

[ At least it's not really strange at all to Ange to see Susano-o hang out like that. She's already seen him around, after all. The Persona is still kind of weird-looking to her, but.. ah, well, who is she to judge. They're all a little weird here.

So when she approaches Yosuke while the other is in the middle of eating something, Ange seems as nonplussed as ever. ]

Is he just hanging out? [ She asks - figuring he'll hopefully realise she's talking about Susano-o and the way he's just.. hanging around.. watching.. not doing much..

Ange is used to her own summons being way more active than that. ]

he looks up at Ange, and then over at his Persona.]

Oh, yeah. We're both taking a break... we'd just been showing off some sick moves and all that.

There's just a moment of dead silence, and then Ange somehow sounds entirely serious as she asks him: ]

Why would you show off sick moves? You're just going to get everyone else sick too. You should go home and rest.

[ You'd almost think she was joking, were it not for her both sounding and looking so serious about it.. ]
