Who: Scott Summers and members of TWAT (Teenagers With Abilities and Talents) Club. Or any teenager that just stops by really.
Where: Roof of the club building
What: Teenagers with abilities or maybe no real abilities hanging out on the rooftop and eating food. Talking. Doing club stuff.
Warnings: Probably none.


[Maybe you're already part of TWAT club and read the message that Scott sent out to everyone, basically stating that they're having a meeting this Saturday to just hang out and meet new members. Or you saw one of the flyers around town that mentioned about having a meeting. Either way, the meeting is held at the rooftop of the club building, so just come. No food or anything required. He's a good leader like that, yeah. Definitely.]

[Why did you come early, god.

Well, anyone that is one of those people that like to come early to events, Scott's putting you to work. Maybe it's just helping getting the food out on the tables, or bringing up chairs or tables up to the rooftop. Either way, work needs to be done and setup is still in progress, so pair up with other TWAT members or whatever to get things ready. Thanks, Scott appreciates it. Probably.

Also, if you have your own food or brought a game of some sort, that's cool. He definitely isn't going to say no. Go set that up.]

[Once the meeting starts and Scott gives some basic speech and welcoming new people to TWAT Club (in which he wasn't nervous at all shut up), people are more than welcome to just eat the pretty decent spread laid out in the tables. Stuff like chips, pizza, rice balls, ramen, probably some mixture of American and Japanese food because he's him and his girlfriend is Kotone, so yeah. There's also a little sign or note in front of the tables that states 'provided by cooking club, so join us. ✨'

Since this is a place filled with teenagers and abilities... Scott probably has encouraged people to show off their powers a little. JUST DON'T BLOW SOMETHING UP it's okay, he's talking about himself too. Of course, he's not forcing anyone to show off their powers and everything, but he sort of hopes people are feeling more comfortable to do so. That is the purpose of his club and everything.

There's also a random cornhole game set up. Don't ask.]

[Feel like being a nice person and help clean up? Nice. Scott isn't forcing anyone to stay after to do so, but he appreciates the help. It's mostly just taking tables down and clearing out the trash. Anyone that stays can probably take home some of the leftovers. So, that's a nice bonus.

Maybe you just want to sit on the ground and enjoy the evening a little. He's not judging.]

Yosuke isn't surprised. Scott seems to care a lot about the whole... situation ship they have going on in that dojo. it's nice that he has their back, though.]

Yeah, I'm fine. Yu is... a little less so, but he'll be okay, too.

[Not too surprising to hear. Yu not doing Great, but guess handling it in his own way. Scott can't help but think that he's only doing as okay as he is because Yosuke is there with him, supporting him and stuff. Despite the whole thing with the hot springs and Yosuke being... Yosuke sometimes, he really is a pretty good dude.

Of course, he doesn't want to something as sappy as that, even as he buries his hands inside the pockets of his jacket.]

...Yeah, felt like it came out of nowhere. [Mikey's message and then disappearance. He's still pretty pissed at the other teen, but no use taking it on Yosuke. That's between him and the gang leader.]

We'll figure out what's going on. Kick Mikey's ass if we have to.

[even if Yu internalizes most of his emotions, knowing him so well now Yosuke's picked up on him. a fidget here, a glance there... an expression that he thinks no one else can see. he doesn't make big deals of those moments, just catalogs them for things to watch out for.

Yosuke is so mad that Mikey hurt Yu like that.]

Oh, I'm all for kicking his ass. Between your eyes and my Persona, we can really kick his ass when he turns back up.

[That gets him to smile, just slightly. Yeah, the 'Invincible Mikey' isn't so invincible against actual eye lasers and someone's head demon. Maybe this is what they need right now, just... trash talking someone even though he still deeply cares about the gang leader.]

Make him regret leaving in the first place. [For leaving his friends behind-- Yu behind. Scott's still not entirely sure what the relationship is between Yosuke and Mikey, but.]

He thinks he's been through all the shit because he's Tokyo's number one gang leader. He hasn't seen anything yet.

Yeah, yeah. Whatever... and he's got that super strength now or whatever.

[he shakes his head.]

Dude needs to get his head out of his ass and stop being an edgelord. As if we're not all screwed up in the head or whatever.

Super strength is nothing if you can't actually reach the person.

[He can blast Mikey before he's able to reach him, right? Just keep his focus on the target, make sure that he doesn't dodge and track his movements before taking his glasses off. Predict where he may run too--

Wait, what the hell is he talking about? He's not going to fight Mikey like that!! He can't use his powers on his friends, even when they piss him off. Just take a deep breath, Summers, before you do something you regret. Self-control and shit.]

Yeah, we're all fucked up in some way. [Probably?? Even though it feels like more and more, he's dealing with friends that have way more shit going on than him. Sometimes he really does feel normal compared to some of the things everyone else has gone through. Still.]

You and Yu have dealt with a lot of shit already, right? [Back home. Not just Yosuke dying here, although that's definitely still a Thing.] He really has his head up his ass if he thinks he's crazier than some of that.

[well Yosuke would have no qualms about tossing a stiff breeze at him and maybe throwing Mikey somewhere. nothing for lasting damage... just maybe a bump on the head to screw it on back straight.

They always think they're protecting us or doing us a favor by doing shit like that, but in the end, it just pisses us off.

[Scott might not just be thinking about Mikey when he says that. The whole business with Kotone and Dara's organs strikes in his mind once more and yeah, he's still pretty upset about that. He's getting tired of people he cares about just doing crap like and assuming that is what's best, especially without talking about it first.

His jaw clenches, one hand burying in his pocket as he shakes his head.]

They just assume we can't do more for them.

Kinda sucks to get the choice taken away from you. I wish sometimes you could tell before your friends do dumb things so you can try to stop them.

Scott sighs, something in him loosening, although he sends Yosuke a rather serious look still.] Hey, that means you can't go sacrificing yourself either, alright?

[well... at least he's not the one getting called dumb, for once. it's an odd feeling, not gonna lie.

he blinks back into the conversation as Scott scolds him, and he laughs nervously as he rubs at the back of his head.]

[If only he could take off his shades so that Yosuke can get the full brunt of his stare. Because dude. Dying.]

[But Scott sighs, shaking his head, resuming his original arms crossed position. He's done talking about this shit anyway, this is supposed to be his cool club where cool things happen.] Alright, I did my duty as club leader and checked in on a member. I won't keep you.

[Yosuke laughs a little bit, rubbing the back of his head.]

Right. I'll see you around, then! Maybe next time we can talk about something cooler than all this.
