TWAT club meeting mingle

Who: Scott Summers and members of TWAT (Teenagers With Abilities and Talents) Club. Or any teenager that just stops by really.
Where: Roof of the club building
What: Teenagers with abilities or maybe no real abilities hanging out on the rooftop and eating food. Talking. Doing club stuff.
Warnings: Probably none.


[Maybe you're already part of TWAT club and read the message that Scott sent out to everyone, basically stating that they're having a meeting this Saturday to just hang out and meet new members. Or you saw one of the flyers around town that mentioned about having a meeting. Either way, the meeting is held at the rooftop of the club building, so just come. No food or anything required. He's a good leader like that, yeah. Definitely.]

[Why did you come early, god.

Well, anyone that is one of those people that like to come early to events, Scott's putting you to work. Maybe it's just helping getting the food out on the tables, or bringing up chairs or tables up to the rooftop. Either way, work needs to be done and setup is still in progress, so pair up with other TWAT members or whatever to get things ready. Thanks, Scott appreciates it. Probably.

Also, if you have your own food or brought a game of some sort, that's cool. He definitely isn't going to say no. Go set that up.]

just hanging out;
[Once the meeting starts and Scott gives some basic speech and welcoming new people to TWAT Club (in which he wasn't nervous at all shut up), people are more than welcome to just eat the pretty decent spread laid out in the tables. Stuff like chips, pizza, rice balls, ramen, probably some mixture of American and Japanese food because he's him and his girlfriend is Kotone, so yeah. There's also a little sign or note in front of the tables that states 'provided by cooking club, so join us. ✨'

Since this is a place filled with teenagers and abilities... Scott probably has encouraged people to show off their powers a little. JUST DON'T BLOW SOMETHING UP it's okay, he's talking about himself too. Of course, he's not forcing anyone to show off their powers and everything, but he sort of hopes people are feeling more comfortable to do so. That is the purpose of his club and everything.

There's also a random cornhole game set up. Don't ask.]

[Feel like being a nice person and help clean up? Nice. Scott isn't forcing anyone to stay after to do so, but he appreciates the help. It's mostly just taking tables down and clearing out the trash. Anyone that stays can probably take home some of the leftovers. So, that's a nice bonus.

Maybe you just want to sit on the ground and enjoy the evening a little. He's not judging.]

[Hanging Out]

[While Tsuna is still not the most social of individuals, he's been getting a lot better. And this club has become something important to him, being a regular member. So, when there's a meeting, he's here. Probably hovering around the food table since that's usually a safe place to be. And he does appreciate the Japanese snacks. He's been away from home for a long time.

And maybe he's had a little more than his share of the rice balls.

If Tsuna isn't at the food table, he's watching the cornhole game with some curiosity. While he gets the gist, it's not something he's all that familiar with.

And if given a chance to play. Well....watch out for that beanbag.]

[Cleaning Up...Sort of]

[After the meeting's over, Tsuna is helping to clean up. Or at least, he was picking up some garbage. But that seems to have stalled a bit, as he's now wistfully watching the sunset.

He used to spend a lot of time on the roof of the school, eating lunch and trying to keep his friends from going too wild. He misses them, a lot.]

[Levi was in the process of gathering trash and whatevers ended up on the floor as well when he notices Tsuna watching the sunset. He pauses to do so as well. After a moment he speaks.]

Even in a place like this, its still pretty.

Yeah, it really is.

I guess some things don't change, whatever the world.

[It's nice to have some consistency. Even if it makes him wistful.]

[He nods.]

It's good some of things are simple and nice.

Yeah. With everything that's been going on, it's nice to have at least one thing we can rely on.

[The sun's going to keep going. At least, he hopes that's the case.]

...yeah. It's good to have some calm.

[He doesn't expect it to last, but Levi never was an optimist.]

[Tsuna gives a small laugh.]

I feel like saying that could be a bad omen or something. That's usually my luck.

[He smiles a bit sadly.]

Mine too. I'm sure this place will go back to messing with us soon. But its nice that its calm for now.

I hope that's a long time from now.

[He knows he probably won't be that lucky.]

But all the more reason to appreciate moments like this.

[He clearly doesn't expect them to have much down time.]

That's true. It's good to notice them while they happen and not just miss them when they're over I guess.

Yeah, that happens way too often.

And honestly, I wish it was the norm. I'd rather just be able to hang out with my friends.

Yeah...I'm not really used to times like that, though.

[The downtime between battles when he'd been in the army had a different feel to it, even if they did end out just hanging out and shooting shit a lot.]

No? I think they're most important times of all.

Especially when it seems like something's always happening.

[He'd rather not have to deal with mafia business all the time. He'd rather just hang out with his friends, playing games and being normal.]

What do you usually do? In times like these?

[Under normal circumstances, Naoto would have been able to dodge. Or at least be aware of the incoming beanbag. But with the pollen messing her up and the antihistamines making her drowsy...

She might have been half nodding off stood up when it happened.

She jolted, almost jumping off the ground in shock with a small yelp at the toy bouncing off the back of her head. It didn't hurt. But it had spooked her.]

Huh!? What... What was that?

[He'd knocked her hat askew...]

[There's a sharp intake of air from Tsuna and a sincere look of panic. He hadn't meant for that to happen, but sports and games have never been his strong suit.]

Ah, I'm sorry! Are you okay?

[He might have been more panicky than she was. Because Naoto was still just staring at the beanbag, or lumpy ball as it appeared from her angle.

Then slowly lifting her head to look at him.]

What are you doing?

I'm...or I was, trying to play the game.

[He indicates the Cornhole set up.]

I guess I'm not very good at it.

[The board got a stare, then the stare turned to him.]

How did you miss the board so badly? [She could understand missing the holes, but how had he gotten her in the head.]

[Tsuna focuses on a spot on the ground, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.]

I...I did say I wasn't very good.

Clearly... [Naoto sighed. Crouching to pick up the bean bag, then gave it a throw at the board-


Missing it as well. But at least it she was within a foot of the board. Even if she gave a small grunt, not happy at whiffing it.]

[Tsuna doesn't say anything, a slightly tight expression on his face. Well, at least it's not just him.]

I...I think you have to throw it more gently. Is what I've been figuring out.

[She didn't feel like going and picking the beanbag up to try again.]

It seems so. Why are you doing it? [Was it that fun?]

Uh...it looked like a game, and I wanted to try it out?

[He watched a couple people doing it and it looked interesting.]

I mean, I don't mind games so...yeah.

I see. [Naoto was just a stick in the mud.] It seems like something they'd set up for a group younger than ourselves...

[Then she had a sneezing fit.]

Maybe I'll ask Scott about it.

[He's the one who set it up, after all and maybe it's an American thing.]
