[ Hades grimaces. He's always frowning or grimacing at something. The only time he has ever smiled was for his partner. ]

Not many appointments, but walk-in patients are inevitable. Which wouldn't be a problem if they bothered listening to me the first time about their health.

[ He sighs. In other words, it's the usual gripes and grumbles. ]

( jinx keeps a close eye on her worker who is handling hades' order, and so far, they're combining the right ingredients in the correct order. it's not like his drink is a complicated one, but it's still easy to make a mistake if not done carefully. her attention falls back to the man beside him. )

Someone's gotta fill their juices around this place.

[ Hades has never been very good at the slang. He tries his best but he always gives off the impression of being a lot older than he actually looks.

He covers a yawn and rubs his eyes. ]

...Oh, come to think of it, I did have a patient the other day who somehow managed to get an object logged in their rectum. No prizes for guessing what sort of object.

( she flings up her eyebrows over the story, but then an entertaining grin smears over her face. a chuckle hums in the back of her throat before shrugging a shoulder that consist of no shame or feeling prudish. )

Hey, whatever gets our rocks off, eh?

( a conversation like this would make anyone lose their appetite or second guess for a drink, but jinx is a unique case -- it takes a lot to get her offended to the point she loses her lunch. )

You can't hate 'em for trying. Life is all about exploring, experimenting, aaaaand giving shit a world at least once!
