Probably. Was pretty violent since the beginning, honestly.

[she was pushing down kids in the nursery as soon as she could figure out how!!

I can only imagine the terror of a toddler you were.

[Little Vi, pushing and punching for all the best toys. Caitlyn couldn't help but wonder how different she might've turned out, if everyone in the Lanes didn't have to fight so hard to survive. But if she hadn't-- if things were different, Vi wouldn't be the spitfire of a woman she had fallen so hard for.]

You could just ask, you know. But I suppose it is a bit more fun when alcohol is involved.

[she grins a little bit more.]

All the kids on the playground were terrified of me.

[but then she nudges Cait.]

Also you don't get as embarrassed. That helps too.

As they should. You have quite the presence.

[Caitlyn laughs as she's nudged, but Vi does have a point. She does get flustered easily. She may be better than she was, but it still happens from time to time. And maybe not why Vi thinks. It's easy enough to brush it off as true embarrassment, that she's still learning and adjusting, and she is, but that's not all.. It's almost became a mask, a way to hide how she really feels, because letting herself go and falling into her feelings would only lead to hurt. She gets flustered because she tells herself it's not it's real, that her feelings aren't the same, and it's just temporary and this won't last. Because it won't, right? Oil and water.]

What can I say? You're a much better flirt.

[She pauses from walking as a flushed feeling falls over her. It's a weird sensation that she only feels for a second, but it doesn't even linger in her mind, as she's filled with enough confidence to say the words she was holding back moments before.]

But-- really? How am I supposed to feel, when someone so beautiful, so hot, dares to actually find me attractive? That someone so strong, so wonderful and amazing wants to be with me? How could I not be flustered, embarrassed, and the like, when you look at me the way you do? I love that look. I love you, Vi.

[there's been some drowsiness creeping up on Vi the past few minutes, kind of forced away because she's not going to just give up and sleep here.

but in the midst of Caitlyn talking, it overtakes her. by the time Caitlyn might turn around, after her confession, Vi's going to be snoozing up against a nearby wall.

-- Vi? Did you hear me? Vi??

[While Caitlyn might have had the sudden burst of confidence to gush her heart out, that didn't mean she wasn't stupid. She knew how Vi might react, but she still knew Vi cared about her. All the same-- this? This was not what she expected.

Vi was a sleepy bitch on a good day, but it wasn't exactly normal for her to just fall asleep in the middle of the street. Thankfully there was a wall next to them that caught most of her weight until Caitlyn could grab her and keep her from dropping to the ground.]

Vi! Vi, what-- Can you hear me? Are you alright??

[Breathing, check. Pulse, check. She appeared fine, but why in the world would she just suddenly fall asleep like that?? And she knew it was sleep, not simply passed out, judging by the way she was snoring. That was definitely sleep. Don't mind her, casually patting Vi's face.]

Vi, wake up!

[... her eyes flutter open for a moment, and she looks at Cait.]

... Hey.

[there's a lopsided goofy grin... but then she's sleeping again.

There you--- are. Okay. Nevermind. [Vi was awake for a moment, and then gone again. What sort of sorcery could have done this? She's having to shift again to support Vi's weight, deciding to help lower her down to the ground. The crouches in front of her, positioning Vi's back against the wall she had been leaning against. Even with that, and more attempts at stirring her with a shake or tap, it was getting nowhere.

Caitlyn sighs, then decides goes to plan B. She gives Vi a quick peck to the lips, leaning back to see if there was any reaction.]

[Vi stirs again when she's kissed, but then ends up mumbling something incoherently and falling back to sleep. probably something about "cupcake"...]

[bulleting]

[There's a hint of a smile across Caitlyn's face when Vi uses her pet name for her, but it only lasts a moment. Right. Okay. This is definitely not working. Should she just??? Take her back home?? Let her sleep whatever this is off??

She hates how weird and strange this place is sometimes. But now that she's made a decision, she's going to scoop Vi's arm over her shoulder, and attempt to get her up on her feet again. Hopefully she's not completely dead weight, or this will be a lot harder than she wants it to be.]
