[Cursed...? He remembers the voices from earlier, taunting and slinging hateful words at her. Calling her a 'jinx' and how she's ruined plans and hurt people-- some even dying. Scott has no context for any of that, but right now, he doesn't really care. He keeps her tight in his arms, not letting go or second guessing if he's doing the right thing.
