Who: anyone in Aldrip who wants a hobby
Where: Kotone's club building!
What: It's finally time... for school clubs to be available.
Warnings: None as of yet, but please let me know if I need to edit this!

There's been a building under construction at the edge of town for a few months now; it looks as though at one point it had been a small warehouse for dry goods and storage that hadn't seen use in quite some time before being acquired by Kotone. When time allowed, she's been working on retrofitting it into what could almost (almost) be mistaken for a school practice building on the inside. Now, a sign has been posted on the open door, quite descriptively labeling it as Club Building Now Open!! Come in!!

🎾Gym

Interested in starting a sports team, or just want somewhere indoors and relatively open? There's a volleyball net, balls, and various other kinds of sports equipment that Kotone was able to find/buy/acquire around town for the months she's been preparing. There are also some (wooden practice) weapons available for training and sparring, and a few lockers and showers nearby. They're available for anyone to use at any time, though if anyone breaks a window with her things, she'll be so disappointed and expect help fixing it. :(

🪑"Classrooms"

While not true classrooms in that there's no school and not very many desks, there are several empty rooms available to be repurposed into an activity room. In one room, one can find a very small assortment of musical instruments; in another, a few easels and art supplies. Another room that's far better outfitted is a room with a cute handwritten sign reading Sewing Club! 💖 on its door. Inside, as one might expect, there are two dressforms and several bolts of cloth alongside some Aldrip-style (read: vintage) sewing machines, as well as plenty of needles and thread.

👩‍🍳Kitchen

One of the places that had taken her the longest to set up was the galley-style kitchen and tables. While it may not be the most modern or ornate kitchen in the world, it features the kind of appliances the Chosen would expect to find in Aldrip. It's very much a bring-your-own-ingredients situation, aside from basic spices and bulk staples that are available for anyone -- Kotone doesn't exactly have the same kind of funding a real school's Cooking Club would have, after all! -- but perhaps more importantly, it has a decent selection of pans, trays, and other cooking and baking supplies in the cabinets and cupboards.

Shinjiro has posted a simple sign that says "Cooking Club" on the door. Another sign says "Wash your hands."

⛅Roof

What would a protagonist's building be without a flat roof to climb up to and stare wistfully into the distance? It's a roof. There's a few benches, or you can just stand on it. Be careful!!

This is also where Scott's Teens With Abilities and Talents club meets. Come say hello!

[This is an open mingle! Use it for all your club-creating/club-joining purposes. Feel free to assume that as long as no one is intentionally and obviously going to cause harm with their club, Kotone will approve it and make sure they have a room and (basic) supplies! [It's clear that Scott doesn't fully believe her, and it's a bit worrying in general to know that someone who's 100% fine with trying to kill teenagers and their entire families is here. And friends with Usagi??

He still can't get over that.]

So, you're truly honestly friends with her? [Squints.] This isn't some like, coded distress signal, right?

[Of course bluntly asking about it is stupid, but Scott isn't going to think about that.]

I am. [She nods.] And even if it WAS coded, I wouldn't want anyone to fight her and I don't want her to fight anyone. [As cool as Scott was, Usagi knows that his abilitie isn't going to defeat Galaxia who can clench her fist and blow up an entire planet.]

Not that she's shy about it, but she's incredibly powerful and deadly. She wouldn't really hesitate if anyone decided to attack her.

[laserguy]

Well, if you're sure, just know that me and the other members got your back, okay? So if something happens... we'll be there.

[Geez, how powerful is this person Usagi is talking about? It's a little intimidating, but Scott doesn't back down from what he just said. That'd be incredibly lame on his end. Friends support friends and what not, even if he won't say something so embarrassing out loud.]

Thank you, that means a lot. I'm always much stronger knowing I have my friends beside me. [She reached out and hugged Scott before pulling away.]

And I've got all of your backs too, okay? You can count on me!

[Oh, he's in a hug now, that's sudden, but okay. Cool. Guess he said the right thing-- well obviously! He's great at speeches and crap.]

I'm keeping you to that, Usagi. [...] So, are you going to keep me in suspense? Show off your powers.

[lightthedarkness]

Um... well... [She blushed.]

One... one second then. [She took a step back and then put her hand into the air.

She then called out:]

SILVER MOON CRYSTAL POWER MAKE UP! [And transformed into Eternal Sailor Moon, the feathers around her disappearing into soft sparkles of light before dissipating completely.]

[laserguy]

[UHH what's happening?? Scott takes a couple of steps back as feathers surround Usagi, covering her form as something starts to happen to her. He's assuming it's a good thing, since she voluntarily used the 'crystal power make up,' but it's still kind of weird!!

At least he doesn't have to wait long, as the feathers flutter away, revealing Usagi's transformation.]

Whoa... [Scott steps closer once more, taking in her new appearance with slight wonder.] Your outfit's completely different. You kind of like a really fancy cheerleader.

[SORRY USAGI......]

Haaaa... [She lightly scratched her cheek.] That's... not usually the reaction my transformation causes.

It's okay. Though, it's more than my outfit that's changed. I am Eternal Sailor Moon, Champion of Love and Justice, Guardian of the Earth and the Moon. [There's a lot... MORE of course to the whole thing but honestly, if his response was... well, that, best to keep it simple.]

[laserguy]

[Scott slowly blinks behind his shades as Usagi rattles off all the titles that she has. If it was anyone else, he might've accused them of being a bit showy, but she's probably actually serious, huh?]

People really call you that? [He's slowly getting the sense that she's a pretty big fucking deal back on Earth-- her version of Earth at least. Scott doesn't think there's a Sailor Moon back in his home.] That's uh. Wow.

[He's kind of impressed, really! It's just a little weird, maybe like meeting a superhero for the first time.]

[lightthedarkness]

Well, not the full title, usually, but definitely Sailor Moon, yes. [She offers with a smile but is mildly blushing, feeling somewhat uncomfortable. She's not used to just... BEING Sailor Moon without a need to protect someone, just... SHOWING someone who she is.]

I'll... I'll de-transform, sorry, I bet this was weird. I didn't mean to make things weird.

[Wha-- did he make things awkward between them? That's definitely not what he wants, especially as someone that's going to be a member of TWAT club. It's supposed to be a place where teens are comfortable with their powers and crap, so Scott finds himself quickly reassuring her.]

Huh? You don't have to-- it's not weird, really. I mean, I still have lasers coming from my eyes! You can't tell me that's not odd. [He does his best to reassure her, because it's all cool, really! Maybe it's a little odd and a little surprising at first, but he has no qualms or anything.]

You're pretty cool, Usagi.

[lightthedarkness]

[Shockingly, Scott, asking if "people really call you that" isn't all that encouraging. At the mention of the lasers she looked at him with a lift of her brow.]

I mean, where I come from that's not all that odd.

I... It's more than just an outfit change...

[Really, it wouldn't be that odd? That's a first. Well, guess a girl did just transform in front of him into a new outfit and calls herself Sailor Moon, so she's probably onto something there.

Scott tries to be a little encouraging, especially since she sounds a little unsure still.]

Oh, so we're getting into the cool stuff. Wanna show off a little?

[lightthedarkness]

Ah, well, I can, yeah. [It's been a while since she's been... boastful? Flagrant? Well, anyway, it had been a while since she had shown off her powers.]

Alright, so... I guess we can start with you shooting your lasers at me!

[laserguy]

[Scott blanches.]

W-what?! Hold on!

[He immediately starts to protest, because no way. Sure she's really cool and can transform and probably is really strong... but he still doesn't want to risk hurting her. What if she can't block his optic blasts? He can't. He doesn't want to potentially hurt another person, especially not a friend.]

I'm not using my powers on you!

[lightthedarkness]

[Sailor Moon blinked and then smiled. Scott really was such a sweetheart. She levitated into the air and then gestured to the side of her.]

What about near me then, would that be alright? My barrier can be wide enough to block it, in any case.

[laserguy]

[Oh she's flying now, okay. He's just going to accept that. Scott isn't sure if his brain is melting or not, but he glances over at the direction of where she's gesturing, seeing that she's pointing just to the side of her.]

Um, can I shoot like at least 5 feet away from you? Or the farthest your barrier can extend?

[Maybe he should just ask if she has other powers to demonstrate, but.]

[lightthedarkness]

Oh... well... [She smiled and nodded, best not to be boastful, besides, she didn't know if she was able to protect a planet anymore, so why even say it? No, this was already boastful enough, honestly.] Yeah, that works just fine.

[She twirled her Tiare once and then called out "STARLIGHT HONEYMOON THERAPY KISS!" And a sphere of light surrounded her in a barrier.]

Ready when you are, Scott!

[laserguy]

[...He wonders if it's a little lame if his optic blasts are blocked by an attack called 'Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss.' Obviously, she's powerful, but man.

Still, Scott takes this seriously, and tilts his head just slightly so that he's off to the side of her, at the edge of the barrier that she's formed around her person. Okay, deep breath, he won't hurt her, he won't harm any of his friends--]

Okay, if you're ready...!

[He slowly removes his shades and two bright red beams emerge from his eyes, shooting straight and into her barrier in just a couple of seconds.]

[lightthedarkness]

[You're lucky she can't hear your thoughts, Scott, because she would show just what that kiss feels like for the 'lame' comment.

She watches the blasts come at her, or well, near her, and the beams slam into the barrier but she's perfectly safe and sound. The barrier deflects the blasts, sending it upwards and into the air. She sends out a peace sign.]

All good!

[laserguy]

[Even through his limited vision, he can tell that his optic blasts are doing nothing against her barrier, and are just being reflected skyward and wow, okay. She's not joking at all-- which, duh, yeah. Plus, it's a good thing, since she's definitely invulnerable to him, his powers.

He shuts his eyes and slides his shades back on, before he looks back at Usagi with a smile that's slowly increasing to something impressed.]

Dude, that was awesome! What's your barrier made of-- I haven't seen anything that can bounce my powers like that.

[lightthedarkness]

Hmm? Oh! [She blushed as she came back down next to Scott.] It's made of light, that's my element. Though I'm able to do other things. But every senshi in the Sol System has an... element, of sorts. Venus controls metal, Mercury all forms of water, Mars controls fire, Jupiter controls electricity and plants, Saturn is the Senshi of death, Uranus controls the wind and sky, Neptune the sea and oceans, and Pluto controls time. And then there's me! I control light. [Among... other things.]

[laserguy]

[What's the difference between Mercy and Neptune then-- but it's okay, Scott isn't going to ask, because he's still focused on the whole 'Usagi managed to deflect his powers' bit.]

So... light's able to reflect my powers. [...Okay, he thought that would be kind of useful to know, but what materials are made of light normally?? Scott almost sighs, but he manages to keep a more upbeat attitude as he smiles at her.]

Pretty cool.

[lightthedarkness]

No... No, MY light reflects that power, Scott. You can't make assumptions like that. I'm... I'm magical. [She can do a LOT of things and block a lot of things. She has no idea if just "light" is enough.]

Does... does your own power hurt you?

[laserguy]

[Oh, guess that makes more sense than a substance being made out of light, huh? Usagi just has... magic light powers to block his attack. Yeah. Anyway.]

Huh... I actually don't know. [He raises a hand to his chin as he thinks about this. Since it's coming from his... body? From his eyes? He should be immune to them, right?]

I should probably find out.

[He raises his right hand in front of his eyes, but doesn't pull off his shades yet, because uh, what if he's not immune?? Then he'd just be blasting his hand and that would probably suck.

...

He lowers his right hand, only to raise his left hand in front of his face, because this will obviously suck less.]
