(lupin it is. private, small, dazai's eyes can look at everyone and everything from behind the counter as he pours the alcohol for each and every one of the guests. no business for him today, employees dismissed, the sign on the door moved to close. everyone has had time to get used to their new situation, process home - including himself, so now, it's time to review the agreement that is already in place.
a shot, two shots -- he might want a third soon enough.)
Yosano-sensei, Sig, Nikol, Chuuya, Fy... and myself. I'm not forgetting anyone, am I?

they've all seen pretty clearly firsthand what he can and will do. ] Not as far as I know, and it's not like any new arrivals could hide for long either way.
no subject
Hell fucking no.
He's got a glass of wine and a sharp look on his face, because unfortunately for him, the new influx of people from their world has only made it more obvious: Chuuya's now the only one without anyone from his organization here.]
no subject
Fy. So this was Fyodor Dostoevsky. To think she considered him a respectable man only a few nights before. ]
Hm, such a shame you're actually quite the despicable man. We might have gotten along.
[ Yosano faked a sigh, directly all her ire at Fyodor while taking a rather large gulp of her drink. ]
no subject
Without waiting very long the fair haired terrorist plants his good hand on the chair's back to use as leverage to lean over the counter from the other side; all to send a smile Yosano's way. ]
How nice it is to see you again. All in one piece as well! That is impressive.
no subject
Gogol's arrival has him nervously glancing in Yosano's direction, who he can't help but notice brought a weapon. Should he. Say something about that, or...? ]
no subject
the third shot might as well go down his throat. his fingers tap tap tap the counter, a message for fyodor's ears only, cryptographed to the moon and back, morse and their language meshed into nonsense. 'i'm going to need your help,' he sends into the air to echo. many little communications happen in plain sight.
either way, he should just get this over with.)
Alright. You all probably know each other, if you don't, now you do, la-di-dah, one big pile of mess! Fun, fun, fufufu...! So, as I have prefaced to all of you, old and new, and old-new, as soon as we arrived here, Chuuya, myself, Nikol, and Fyodor put an agreement in place. It's time to review this, so we can ensure our survival rate, and most importantly, our return home in one piece. So far, well, little issues, but I will say none that weren't, uh, all fun and games, or not our fault, so they don't count. First of all, I would like to ask what are we willing and unwilling to offer so no one stabs one another. I'll review the terms of the agreement right afterwards-- ugh, did someone bring snacks?
no subject
[ also because he's an asshole.
the tapped message does not go unnoticed and his hand shifts to rest on the bar, casually communicating back though it merely looks like he's fidgeting. 'the probability of volatility is significant, very well.' ] I think, as it stands I'm the clearest threat to the rest of you. [ because, of course. ] And I cannot force anyone to trust me, but getting back is the priority for all of us, yes? You can trust my commitment to that goal and doing what's best to achieve it.
[ he leans further back, enough that he can brush against gogol's looming frame and lifts one hand to pat the clown on the cheek, affectionately. ]
no subject
Right, okay. Keep it peaceful. Even if he feels like he could really do with a brawl right now, just to scratch the itch and relieve some tension. He shifts and leans back in his seat, resting his back against the bar counter.] And I'm probably the one with the most total firepower. But I want to go home first and foremost, so that's my goal. I need to try and get back to the mafia, and a bloodbath isn't going to get me there.
[It's probably obvious that there's several hurdles to that goal, and they all probably know how absolutely devastated the mafia is right now, but... that didn't matter to Chuuya. If anyone was alive, he needed to get back.] There's no point in picking a fight with each other here, not in the long term. That being said, I personally wouldn't be against a nice brawl as long as everyone walks away from it.
[...Chuuya.]
not even a real tag dont break the order over this this is just his feelings
Yosano isn't sorry
Unlike the other scheming types in the room. Yosano had been up close and personal to this particular clown's tricks. And it wasn't something she would let go easily.
In fact, if it wasn't for Chuuya on that day, she would be a beheaded disfigurement of her previous self. And who knows how many other ada members with her. ]
Ha, ha. I can't say the same for you, clown. Why don't we head to my room, so we can play, hm?
[ And she does it. She pickes up her cleaver and starts walking across the room. Like hell she would back down from a low life who hasn't a care for life.
She glanced at Dazai. She wasn't going to kill him... but maybe take a hand or two? Surely that could be a part of the agreement, no? ]
no subject
[ First of all, he giggles unkindly following the farce. It's not like he's taken his gaze off of the ADA's doctor even while all the chatter started up. Almost like Gogol had expected something like this outburst might happen.
Second of all, it's very intentional that he doesn't do anything about what's clearly a very real threat. Yosano said something about playing but the game is already on for Gogol. Technically, this is good behavior. If the doctor takes a swipe at him first he's not only not concerned about it but will also be elated for her to take that misstep first. ]
That's right! Of course you'd never want to work with anyone who bloodied your hands like I did. Anyone in your position would feel the same way.
[ and there it is! Just a hint of pity. ]
But do you think this is the right time for a show?
no subject
He's up off his chair, aiming to meet Yosano in the middle of her path to Gogol and put out an arm as a tentative barrier between the two of them. (And Dostoevsky, by extension.) They'd left their previous interaction on good enough terms, hopefully she'll think twice about moving right through him? ]
The entire reason we're here is to discuss not killing each other. Getting home in one piece, where we can all get back to doing what needs to be done, as Dazai said.
So can we please sit back down?
no subject
a look to chuuya says 'shut up, flirt later, i'll let you play with the clown afterwards!! be good!!', a series of actions that contain a code in their sounds tell fyodor - 'don't call her angel, it riles her up'. how is it that the one giving him most headache is his own ally!! m'aam!!! rationality, please!!! he needs everyone in this room... and a sigh should most likely tell her that.)
Absolutely not, sensei. Please, sit down. If in months, none of these men hurt me in their own accord, even though they could easily have considering they sleep next door and share my routine, we don't get to do the same, hm?
(and that's the trust card. he knows it works, because he breathes. however, the look he gives chuuya - you have free reign to just make everyone sit, he won't be mad, thank you.)
no subject
to dazai: i would bet on my clown. and do calm down, darling dazai-i will help, but you can't leash them all down. ]
For God's sake, we are all reasonable people, are we not? What is it you want in return for balancing the scales, doctor?
[ he leans back briefly to make sure nikolai is well and still behind him. thankfully sigma is in front so fyodor makes a grab of dazai's hand therefore rendering his ability useless. ] See? I'm willing to compromise.
[ he's virtually defenseless like this in a room of people who want him dead except for maybe dazai. he hopes the significance of the act is clear enough to the rest. ]
no subject
But as fight-happy as Chuuya is, he can also be very good at ending brewing violence with just one touch. One of the benefits of manipulating gravity.] Just think for a second: If one of us decides to go on a revenge hunt, it's gonna devolve into payback for payback until it's a free for all. Trust me: First time around when Fyodor was here, I was fumin'.
[Chuuya is probably the last person anyone wants to hear 'calm down' from, but--] Just sit down and have a drink, okay?
[He eyes the way Fyodor takes Dazai's hand, rolling his eyes quietly and sending Dazai a look that says Can you two stop flirting it is not going to help here. He is fairly sure that tap-tapping is code, even if he doesn't know how to understand it.]
Cw: Torture descriptions???
And it was tempting.
So tempting in fact that everyone else had gotten a whiff of her bloodlust. Sigma had half stepped in front of her. Concern and worry etched on his face. ]
Oh my. Sigma, you don't need to worry.
[ She smiled innocently and glanced instead to Dazai with a look that said: Pour me a shot before I do kill him.
Yosano lightly stepped around Sigma's hand. The poor man, she must have given him a heart attack. And stopped only when she was a few paces from Dostesky. A sly sadistic smile on her face. ]
Reasonable? Please. Tell your clown to stop taunting me or I'll gladly cut out his tongue, hm?
[ As Dostesky was left relatively defenceless. Yosano threw her cleaver to the ground. Though, not without first sending a withering look at their intertwined hands. Tsk. How smitten. ]
Haah~ slowly skinning you alive Clown would make me the happiest woman alive.
[ She had leaned passed Dostoevsky to stare at Gogol with wide manic eyes. ]
However... I did promise Dazai not to lay a single hand on your pretty little face. A promise is a promise, hm?
[ She sighed, the treaty was no fun. She turned from Gogol like he didn't exist at all. Walking to the bar and taking a free seat next to Chuuya, away from the two terrorists. Rage barely contained under an elegant mask. ]
CW: gruesome descriptions of torture and gore in thought form SORRY
What would be easier... In that same time he could reach through to pull her innards outโonly for the agency's doctor to rectify it with her own ability. He could snap her spine and leave her to struggle with bringing herself close enough to death to use Thou Shalt Not Die; even send different parts of her 30 meters in every direction from where he's sitting.
Rinse and repeat, really, until all creativity would be exhausted. Gogol has no doubt the altercation would be magnificently stomach turning to a degree most people should never have to face. They could recreate the image of any circle of hell. ]
Ehhehehe... Yup! Let's all be on our best behavior.
[ he pops the 'p'! Knowing Yosano has already turned away to ignore him he claps in between each word during "our ๐ best ๐ behavior ๐"]
no subject
He turns to follow her trajectory, shooting looks from her to Dazai that practically scream "This one's yours, what do we do!?" until the ka-thunk of cleaver onto the floorboards grabs his attention. H...huh...?
...Ah. Okay. Good, yes, just threats. Threats are much preferable to action, at least here, so as long as everyone's walking away from this unscathed he can relax a little. Once Yosano's seated he'll return to his, letting himself sink into it a little more than he'd like in relief. ]
Right. Best behavior.
cw thinking of drugging third parties
at least it's done, it seems, and fyodor's actions actually do speak wonders. with dazai in hand, no touch is harmful from an anemic, physically weak man. a shot for all, and should there be any need, his sedatives are easy to sneak into the next few rounds.)
Are we done? Thank you, I'm in a lot of pain, I just want to get this over with and go home, hopefully to take a nap!
(is he playing up his injuries? absolutely.)
Alright. The original agreement had been cooperation above all, no injuries to any parties that aren't done with consent. The benefits of the agreement were the use of 'Overcoat' in plans, as well as protection for Fyodor from the best clown in town (love you bae), from Fyodor it had been full cooperation with me in strategy and investigation. I believe I promised Gogol that I'd not interfere in his schemes to murder Fyodor at home, or after the puzzle had been solved, and also, I made them roommates, so that was very cute. From myself and Chuuya, as I said, full cooperation in plans, and the use of Corruption as a card in moments of crisis - however, the decision of whether that comes into play are solely Chuuya's and my own. Chuuya and I live together, so it's easier to keep an eye on us, whereas Gogol, and formerly Fyodor, do too. Ah, I also promised to lend my brain, so we have that going for us.
Sensei, Sig, what would you like to offer?
no subject
he smiles, slow and with teeth because he can almost, almost be certain of what gogol is thinking. the blood, the death, the promise of painting a scene from hell.
a tap, to dazai: we need to have a discussion about corruption, later. ]
no subject
He listens to Dazai go over the details of the agreement, rolling his eyes when he includes himself in the talk of corruption. Yeah Dazai is the stopper, but Chuuya is the one with the power here.] I'm willing to use my ability to help and protect all of you... and If the situation absolutely demands it, I can go all out with Corruption. Dazai's agreement is secondary, I'm the one with the power.
[But he knows Dazai won't ask it of him on a whim, either. That's one thing they've always had a silent understanding on.
He pours another shot, sliding it down the bar towards Sigma. Poor guy looks like his life just flashed before his eyes.]
Cw: vague self-harm
I can offer my medical knowledge, including the treatment of ailments and injuries outside of my ability.ย Additionally, I will share my findings on the biology and anatomy of any said species we encounter while here. Autopsies and dissections alike.
[ Yosano then hesitated. That familiar rush of panic settling over her at the very thought of leveraging her ability. Like Mori himself was breathing down her neck.
Thankful for the drink passed down to her, Yosano took a sip. She wished, now more than ever, to be home. Instead, she could feel the cage building its bars again around her. ]
โI will use my ability at my own discretion and only when absolutely necessary... the clown included.
[ Yosano steeled herself. Her skin was starting to itch. Yearning for the scalpel she left in her room; her self-loathing needing to be saited. ]
no subject
Naturally, Gogol doesn't offer any of those thoughts out loud. This is a symbolic bowing out of the conversation as nothing other than a listener in favor of attempting to balance forks on a toothpick on top of one of the bar glasses. ]
no subject
My ability is all I can offer, though I also ask it only be used when necessary. I can also give my word I won't be using it on any of you without due cause.
[ Ah, but there are at least two people here who probably don't know what that means, aren't there? He raises a hand, indicating touch. ]
I take information from someone in exchange for information of my own, so you'll likely know if it happens.
