Maybe you partied too hard and couldn't find your room? Maybe you just arrived in town and need somewhere to sleep for the night? Maybe you're too scared to be alone? Or you just want to be an overall menace to society... Go knock down someone's door and crash on their floor, bed, couch, wherever it suits you! Move in? Make yourself at home? IDK go wild.

The locks to the rooms are broken, every single one, and you are in desperate need of: advice? an item? clothes? Maybe you've left something in their room or you think they've taken something... Whatever it is, you're flying into someone else's room and cornering them. There is no where for them to run, unless they want to jump out the window?

🔮 I live by the fireplace now?

You couldn't find a room, sadly... and no one wanted to open up their doors to you. Instead, you decide to sleep downstairs with a pitty blanket next to the fire. Does anyone join you? Are they just here for the fun or are they also homeless? Raid the bar. Make a fort. Play stupid games. Tell a spooky story. Go annoy the other sleeping residents.

[ As Yosano walked through the room and jumped onto the bed. Smiling all the while. ]

As I see it, Dazai's room was already pre-occupied. And he led me here instead. But, oh my, here I thought I was going to dissect Gogal, when, in fact, I find you here instead.

[ Metaphorically. Because Yosano was in a choke hold over the agreement. ]

—You're going to have to take it up with him.

[ Considering...yeah. Yeah, Gogol's the other occupant. Sigma didn't get to see everything happen first hand with the bait-and-switch, a little occupied getting the hell out of dodge, but from the way the plan was laid out it wasn't pretty.

Two of the pies he has his thumbs in are already set to clash, he doesn't need even more actively clashing. ]

Listen, I know we didn't start off on the best foot. But I'm not being spiteful when I say it would be in your best interest to leave before Gogol gets back, alright?

However, now that she knew Gogol was, in fact, an occupant of this room, Yosano was less likely to move. ]

I don't mind waiting for him. Am I to assume you side with the terrorists as well?

[ He lets out a long, aggravated sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose. Why is it always these types of people he has to deal with...? ]

I was let go shortly before arriving here, as a matter of fact. Gogol and I have our own, separate business.

[ Yosano, with some detective experience, may be able to recognize someone slipping into a poker face. He's normally more subtle about it, but that last remark hits him square in the chest like a cinderblock.

[ Ah. The ADA was known to take on strays. Yosano would know, because she was one. And the small shift in Sigma's gait told her all she needed to know. A genuine soft smile slipping on her features. ]

[ Sigma opens his mouth...and closes it. ]

[ Sure enough it's sitting on the corner of the couch, defenseless. ]

[ Yosano leapt up from the bed, waltzing over the tiny top hat and picked it up with her fingers. ]

Not quite my style, but I can make it work.

[ Yosano placed the hat on her head and did a little twirl. ]

I'd still advise not being here when he comes back. If you've spoken to Dazai I'll assume you know about the agreement, but I'd rather not stress test it just yet.

[ Gogol can maybe behave himself if not pushed, but Sigma doesn't have a good enough grasp on Yosano to say whether she could resist pushing or not. ]

[ Yosano was unconvinced as she twirled the hat in her hand. She was still ready to throw hands, agreement or not, if Gogal tested her. And she was more than happy to bring him to that point. ]

I just want one good hit in. And maybe if it knocks him out, I'll let him be one of my patients~

[ Raising his hands in an "easy, easy" gesture, ] There will be plenty of time to settle grudges later, and better places to do it than a bedroom.

A shower and good night's sleep in a room that would actually fit you might do a world of good.

[ Yosano was prepared to trash the whole room. However, a shower and a bed was tantalising. ]

Well, come then. You can help me find a spare room. Surely there will be one I can claim as my own, hm?

But good, this is a good, non-destructive development. He'll take a moment to set the slacks he'd been folding where they belong in the pile on his bed, but he's coming to her instead of sitting back down. ]

[ There was no way she would be anywhere near these two rooms. Yosano would end up throttling one of them. And she preferred to dissuade any early morning visits. As an insomniac, Yosano liked to sleep long and deep into the day, undisturbed.

Yosano stepped out into the hallway. Muddy heels back on in case anyone needed to be stepped on. ]

[ A wise decision, really. Who knows what a combination of idiots like these would be up to at early hours... ]

Mm, there is. Not many people want to bother with stairs, so that may be a good bet for a vacant room.

[ And he'll start leading the way, like a gentleman. He hasn't actually been in any of the other rooms, of course, but he couldn't help checking if there was roof access or something when he'd been left unsupervised. Heights calm him down, alright? ]

[ Yosano followed Sigma up the stairs. Another set of dorms, presumably the ones being furnished for the new chosen. ]

Hm, the one at the end? A corner room with windows will suit me nicely.

Here's hoping no one's had the same thought as you yet. Corner rooms can be quite popular.

[ They were in the casino, anyway. Just in case, he'll approach the door for some polite knocking, waiting for the slightest hint of sound from the other side... ]

[ Yosano was about ready to bash the door in and throw out whoever was in the room. The only thing stopping her was the fact that she didn't want to dirty her potential new room. ]

Not a positive just yet--if the room belongs to someone they could just be out at the moment, so he carefully tries the doorknob. Unlocked. Well, if he can open the door, then he'll keep being careful with just poking his head in...? ]

[ Really, Sigma reminded her of some sort of small animal. She would try a few on for size, see what one stuck. ]

Sometimes, you just have to. Walk. In. [ As she fully pushed in the door to see the room empty? A bed? Check. A couch? Check. Corner windows? Check.

Ah yes. Her new delightful home. ]

It is still quite... ugly. But it will do for now.

Little du--?? [ He'd argue that this is a perfectly normal amount of careful to be, but the door's already open by the time he's processed "Little Duckling."

Oh, huh. The room is indeed empty, no telltale signs of a tenant who may have gotten upset at their intrusion. In fact it reminded him of a perfectly cleaned hotel room, just waiting for someone to muss it up and make it feel a little lived in. ]

Perhaps we should check with staff, so no one is sent up here by mistake.

[ Yosano stepped into her new room. Very much ready to muss it up at her discretion. ]

—And then I would be back in your room with the clown. Is that what you want?

[ He's starting to get the idea that this is a losing battle, though, so that's probably the last protest she'll be getting on the topic. Far be it from him to deny someone no doubt exhausted by everything that comes with being here a quiet, clean place to sleep anyway. ]

I will be needing that back before I leave, though.

[ The hat, he means. Even extending his hand for it. ]

Oh, this? [ She grabbed the tiny top hat from her head. Acting surprised it was still there. ]

My my, I forgot it was still on my head. Surely he wouldn't mind if I borrow it?
