[ in hindsight, perhaps he should have been expecting this. oh, he expects jayce, of course, and caitlyn and vi — two people he never had the time or possibility to get to know properly back home, but who he counts as important to him, now. but this? no, he doesn't think heimerdinger is here out of concern for him.

and honestly? after the emotional exhaustion after trying to process his death and all the feelings attached to it, the idea that he might be asked to talk about it not through how he feels but rather through logic and only logic — well. that's a nicer thought. ]
