[Well, he had committed himself to a show, and Miller was rising to the occasion. It was interesting to see that the normally reserved man had it in him. Well, reserved in the sense of such closeness; he had seen Miller laugh loud, pat him on the shoulder but those were all friendly gestures. This was plainly different and yet the older man came to the table once Silco wouldn't back down when pushing the letter.
He didn't resist the pin, aware there was no point as he couldn't physically overcome Miller's size and strength. No, he made a point of lounging back against the wall, unperturbed, and he raised the only eyebrow he still possessed as he stared up into the older man's face after their lips parted.]
So it would seem. That was entertaining.
[His tone was more bored than entertained, and he pushed off the wall and straightened his vest before dusting his arms off as he stepped around Miller.]
I wasn't certain you had it in you, but you're full of surprises.
[ Apparently they're both acting beyond expectations today. How annoying to think that perhaps that was what the powers that be wanted. Whatever could be done to push the envelope, they would do it. Regardless though, there is nothing to be done about it now, and Miller is stiff-lipped, hiding how dazed this exchange has made him feel behind a clearing of his throat.
He lets Silco slip away, turning his eyes towards the sprig of mistletoe with a few avoidant backwards paces. Although he glances his way, the determined energy from a moment ago has been completely deflated, and Miller is quickly dismissive. ]
It worked, didn't it? Just forget about it.
[ As if. He can't even practice what he preaches there.
But nonetheless, he starts taking the opportunity to leave, turning his back to the other man as he begins to walk away. ]
[Mistletoe was a ridiculous reason to kiss someone. If someone wanted to kiss, just do it, though this entrapment had been interesting as much as it had been annoying. Still, they had given into the trap, and perhaps they had even learned something new about each other in the process.
He huffed softly as he stepped further away, giving Miller room to also put distance between them if the older man wished it. He was not nearly as offended by this stunt as he probably should be. For him, it meant an opportunity to needle Miller in a manner that he otherwise would never allow himself.]
Oh, Miller, I never forget. Besides, you held your own just fine.
[He watched Miller put distance between them, mildly amused and wondering how the older man would cope with a little kiss because of a toad.]
Any time. What are friends for? [He used the term very loosely. Silco didn't have friends in his mind, but he knew it was the appropriate word to use here.
That being said, he also took this opportunity to leave. He had work to do.]

Thank you... for the help.
