[They can see a couple of the toads squaring up like they were going to try again, and Morph is tempted enough by the idea that they don't try to stop them. Even if Nura could slip out of the trap, Morph didn't want to give up so easily. They knew from the start that it would be tough to pull off, and maybe it's true that nothing that's worth it is ever easy.
Morph is briefly silent, but then they put on a smile as they tell him,]
I understand why you feel the way you do. Really. I just think you need to reconsider, 'cause your interpretation wasn't quite right.
[That's dancing around the issue, but it's true that Nura didn't know what was going on with Morph physically. It would be better if they could get Nura to reconsider his dating rule just based on their own merits, though.]
Oh? What ever do you mean with that, I wonder- [SPLAT!
He falls silent when another toad attack hits him, first in the back of his head and then their feet. Lastly, a single "Kiss!" note sails on the top of his head.]
[Morph just couldn't help but break out in their usual snickering laughter at the sight of Nura suddenly getting pelted by another of the toads. Grinning, they reach out to take the note, briefly reading it over before showing it to him.]
[They're a little startled by getting pushed down, sure, but the idea that Nura was really going to kiss them is just too good to pass up. Why would they argue about position when they were finally getting what they wanted? Of course, he was giving in to what Morph wanted awfully quickly...
Still, Morph both closes their eyes and puts a hand over their eyes as well for good measure. That was an entirely reasonable request, as far as they were concerned.]
[He waits until he is sure that Morph has their eyes closed and isn't peaking. Then he reaches up and undoes the fasting of his mask with a soft noise.
There is a brief moment of silence. Then firm lips are pressed against Morph's.
Firm wooden lips because Douman sure just kissed his mask and pressed it onto the idiot's face, thus giving them an indirect kiss.]
[Waiting in eager anticipation for what was to come next, Morph was surprised by the contact of something cold and hard against their lips, not at all what they'd been expecting. They give into the urge to peek between their fingers, getting a glimpse of the mask before Nura disappears entirely.]
HEY! Nura, that's not what I meant-!
[But he was gone quickly, leaving Morph on the sidewalk with a handful of the missile toads staring at them. They pushed back up to their feet with a sigh, looking down at their scattered army.]
Was that an insult? I think it might've been an insult.
[A couple of the toads give rather confused-sounding croaks. It seemed they weren't too sure about that one, either.]

See? Our adoring audience wants us to kiss, too.

[Without a warning Douman grabs Morph and pushes them back down so that he can lean over them.]
Close your eyes. I'm not ready to have you see my face yet.

Okay, I'm ready! Let's make it a good one.
