alright, roll call. who all disappeared after all that bullshit last month? Cait and Ekko are gone. they haven't showed back up.

i know they're probably not the only ones, so there's gotta be some info on where they are.

ii. lupin

[she could be found around Lupin first of all, and when she's there she's aggressively cleaning the glasses that're being used, except for a glass that she takes a drink out of every now and then.

if she hears someone approach, she looks over to the side so that she can see them in her periphery.]

What do you want? Or if you're trying to pay, don't bother.

[she doesn't really care about money of all things right now.]

iii. gym

[when she's not at Lupin, she's at the gym. she could be seen punching the shit out of a punching bag, and at some point... the chain breaks, and it goes falling to the floor. she groans when it happens, kicking the shit out of it now and then throwing it into the wall. she stands there, breathing heavily after that, putting her hands on her knees a bit and starts to catch her breath.]

Leave me alone.

[if she sees anyone coming by, anyway.]

vi's strong. she's not treating her like a dumb little kid, or telling her to shove off. probably a good head on her shoulders in chaos-- the kind he'd say to take seriously. ]

[LMFAO... a good head on her shoulders. kind of debatable, but the rest is right. she's used to kids being more grownup than they need to be anyway, because she was one herself.

it's unfortunate, but she's used to it.

she shrugs at the question.]

In stories, maybe. Let me guess, you got them crawling around where you're from?

Somethin' close to 'em. Mushroom fungus taking over your brain. Not as kushy as this place seems to be.

[ and yet even here, she still has her gun tucked into her waistband at all times. can never be too careful. ]

But there's food everywhere, so Aldrip already gets a few points.

Well... that gives my world a run for its money. We just have rich people trying to kill us at home.

[Vi doesn't blame her, though. her weapons are her fists, and she's not fond of other ones.

she nods and shrugs.]

Yeah. Everyone thought I was weird too because I flipped my shit over seeing actual plants. You don't really see that where I grew up, either.

You're the second person that's said that. Is someone stealing trees or something?

No, but everything was too... polluted, where I grew up. It's just nothing I saw all that often.

Hey, mine's got plenty to go around!

When we get outta this place, we go there, chop a few down -- [ she mimes it as she says it, enthusiastically chopping an imaginary tree ] and you just carry it home.

Easy.

[Vi smiles a little bit, amused.]

And how would we get from your world to mine?

[giraffic]

We bribe one of the magic types.

[grappler]

If the magic types could do that, wouldn't we be outta here by now?

[just saying.]

We'll work on that part. It's magic, that shit should be able to do anything.

You'd think.

[she shakes her head.]

Any reason why you were hanging around here, or just wandering around?

[giraffic]

Just checking the place out. I don't have much to do.

[grappler]

Yeah, it gets kinda boring in between bullshit happening.

[she regards Ellie for a moment, and then rolls her shoulder as she grabs it with her other arm.]

Know any hand-to-hand combat? If you don't have anything better to do...

[she could help her, maybe. it'd be something, and a distraction all at once.]

A little. I can always learn more.

[ she pulls her gun out of her waistband to set it aside along with her switchblade, then rolls up her sleeves. she's got a cloth bandaged over one forearm.

she wasn't at Vi's level, but if there was one thing FEDRA was good at, it was teaching children to be violent. ]

[Vi raises an eyebrow at the weapons she pulls out, immediately even more the interested. not that she works with those weapons themselves, but. she can always appreciate a kid that knows how to defend themselves.

she cracks her knuckles, and nods at her.]

Okay, then. Show me what you got.

[giraffic]

[ on one hand, FEDRA training means she knows how to fall into stances, knows what to look for to a degree. FEDRA had been focused more on guns and being able to hold your ground.

but the real fighting has always been between her and the kids bigger, stronger, just waiting to steal anything they could get their hands on. whether her walkman or her food, the number one rule has always been punch and don't stop until they're down.

tl;dr the girl is swinging for whatever she can hit and she may not be big, but she's quick and fights dirty. ]

[Vi's one of those types that fight dirty, too. so once she realizes that that's also a tactic of Ellie's, she smirks. knows exactly when and how to dodge... and when she sees an opening, she's going to sweep out her leg to try to trip her. she's not going for punches of her own yet, but she's definitely trying to get her off balance.]

[ she's used to more frantic, adrenaline-fueled fights for your life so she has quick reflexes, pushing back avoid the sweep, immediately moving in to shove her. ]

You thought that'd work?

[her reflexes are just as quick, and she dodges Ellie by stepping to the side.]
