[It helps to have a good teacher, too. Jim has a very different teaching style from Toph, though. Don't get her wrong, she loved Toph and owed her a lot, but like the stone she moved, she was very strongwilled and opinionated. Which wasn't wrong or bad, it worked for what she was teaching, but Caitlyn would be lying if she said it wasn't nice to have a break from such a tough coach.
That didn't mean she was going to slack off or take advantage of the moment, either. She was here to learn. What good would it do to not push herself when what she learned here could be the difference between life and death in a place like this?]
I do-- have the advantage-- of being -- tall. [She speaks between punches, a smirk on her face. Being six foot as a woman definitely gave her some advantages. She was taller than some men, even, so most would be hard pressed to actually get one up over her. Then again, Vi was five inches shorter, and Caitlyn wouldn't dare get into an actual fist fight with her.
While she wasn't exactly expecting Jim to make a sudden move, she was ready for anything. After training with Toph for so long, she was used to expecting the unexpected. It's not the most graceful of dodges, but she does stumble back a bit to avoid contact with his mitt.]

Switching me to defensive already?
