So, the corner of his mouth twitches upward. Thanks Levi, he needed that.]
Yeah, they're dicks, aren't they?

[But there's also a lot of people that are good as well. Nice, accepting-- people that Scott would call his friends. Kind of cheesy to say that out loud though, so he doesn't. That small smile to him doesn't disappear though.]
Guess that's what I hate too. Well, that and people that just want to hurt others. [All around bad dudes?? Either way, the question fades from Scott's screen without incident.]

The next question pops up 08. WHAT IS YOUR PREFERRED METHOD OF MURDER?]
Um...I-i'd prefer not to murder...b-but guns? I guess. They're....familiar.
[He's already murdered many with them, but most of them were enemy soldiers in war time so he doesn't think that counts as murder.]
no subject
Yeah, they're supposed to be destructive, dangerous, but... he's learning that he can also protect people too with them. He just has to be careful and train. Be better. Scott wishes he can shove his hands into something, but he just folds his arms and tries to just get through this with a light grimace.]
Whatever is the most painless way, I guess.
[The question fades from his screen. Maybe it shows Scott's own lack of experience when it comes to killing people, but he doesn't mind having few experiences with that.]
no subject
Levi blinks at the question then at Scott.]
U-uh...o-only if I had to. I don't...I don't want to hurt people.
[But he will fight back if needed. Though unless Scott's got whatever that infection is he really doesn't think it'll happen.]
no subject
Unless the screen is messing with him now. It's hard to say, but. He wants to believe in Levi. Is it a mistake to be this trusting? Maybe, but.]
No, I wouldn't hurt the person across from me, not unless he tries to hurt me or others first.
[And like that, the question fades from his side once more.] On the same page, Levi?

The last question finally shows up 10. WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR LIFE FOR THE PERSON ACROSS FROM YOU?]
Uh...w-wha...?
[What the hell was this question?]
no subject
He doesn't want to die, but he also doesn't want Levi to die.]
Hey, for this one, we'll answer at the same time, okay? I know it sounds dumb, but just want to be careful, got it?
[Guess he's also just trusting Levi to answer the same way as him.]

[If there's definitely one good thing he can say about Levi is that he's pretty easy to work with. He's always been that way, at least to Scott. Sort of going with the flow of things, willing to try stuff out despite having zero experience with it. It's been clear to the mutant that Levi has had a pretty crappy life and hasn't been able to enjoy being a regular teen for most of it.
He didn't know what a movie theater was for one.
Now Scott's learned that he's part of the army or something like that. Maybe a reminder to meet up with him after this, shove him to enjoy some regular teen activities.
But for now, he starts counting down and at one--]
Yeah, I'd give my life away.
[He'd just avoid it if possible. There's just a lot to live for too.]
no subject
Yes.
[He always just wanted to protect people. If someone had to die or be injured he'd much rather it be him than someone else. It was the one part of being a solider that went to his core.
He blinks at Scott, not really sure what response he expected the other man to have. He guesses he's not surprised but he doesn't really know how to feel.]
no subject
He's not sure how he'd react if the other said 'no,' but he doesn't have a reason to really think about it in the first place. He can just watch with some satisfaction as the question leaves both of their screens, signifying that everything worked out and hey, they both seem to be doing okay too.
He doesn't feel like something is going to burst out of his chest like in that Alien movie-- no he wasn't traumatized by that as a kid. Shut up.]
So, that's that. [Despite himself, Scott actually seems a little cheerful. Yeah, they went through the world's worst icebreaker, but they made it. Well, except that another question comes up and:
Vote if the person across from you is human or gnosia.
...Oh.]
no subject
But then last question appears. Does he think that Scott is human or gnosia? Scott seemed normal. But weren't the infected people trying to act like they hadn't been infected? He wasn't really good enough with people to see through an act like anyway.
He peers at the buttons for a moment before hitting 'human.' There didn't really seem to be anything weird with Scott at the moment.]
no subject
Everything so far has just been answering questions, although this feels like the final one. Scott sucks in a low breath, a flash of determination coursing through him, before he also votes 'human.' The screen seems to register both of their responses before flickering out of existence, but any hope that this stupid thing is all done with disappears when Scott notices the very thin, almost intangible line connecting his wrist with Levi's.
.....bro.]
no subject
...what do you think they want from us now?
no subject
Maybe another screen will pop up soon.
[He says, not bothering to hide his sarcasm. However, as he looks from the line to Levi, the mutant sighs and shakes his head.] Regardless, let's just get out of here. Better than sticking around this place.
no subject
Yeah. I don't know if its safe out here anyway.
