[Even if he did stare, he wouldn't be able to see much. Maybe a brief glimpse of a mismatched pair of eyes behind the mask, one dark and vivid in the shadows while the right one is a damaged white that seems to switch from simply blind to something inhuman and seeing if one stares too much, or curt flash of teeth when he bares them in a smirk behind the mouth slit.]
Please don't mention it. I'm sure anybody else would have done the same. [minus the making Ruca pay for his 'saving' bit, most likely] It's a pleasure to meet you, Ruca-kun. I'm Nurarihyon. ...Though most only call me the Principal back home.
[He almost omitted the last bit, but there's still the off-chance that somebody else from home has also landed themselves here. If they did, "the Principal" would tell them a lot more than Douman's actual youkai name.]
[If Ruca stared more he would probably find all of that a little unsettling or think that maybe his imagination is playing tricks on him. Staring seems rude to him though, so he chooses not to do that and instead smiles politely.]
The Principal? As in a principal of a school?
[Ruca loves school. Obviously this piques his curiosity.]
Exactly like that. I'm the Principal and also the owner of Hyakki Academy, a school for adolescents and adults. We offer both general and specialized education for everybody.
[Target group: ayakashi, youkai, fallen or otherwise negatively-associated gods, monsters of any other kind and one single human with exorcism powers that Douman brought in as a teacher for his personal entertainment.]
Occasionally. I used to do it fulltime for a long time, but nowadays the school has become so big that tend to leave it to others while I handle all the boring administrative stuff. I still fill in when one of the teachers is unavailable, or for special lessons, though.
[He's also the last final judge and executor when it comes to punishing rulebreakers.]
It's not often that I see somebody your age smile while talking about school. Do you like yours?
Oh, I see. It must be a really interesting place. I wish I could see it.
[He continues to smile, then he nods.]
I really like learning new things and testing my knowledge. But... uh... the only problem was that I didn't exactly know how to get along with my classmates.
I was the problem. I just assumed that my classmates don't like me and I couldn't stand up for myself either. But I would like to believe that I'm better now.
No? [He tilts his head to get a better look at Ruca's face through the narrow eye-openings of his mask while the younger one is talking.]
Hmmm. If that's the case, than that's rather good, isn't it? Knowing one's flaws is the first and most important step to not letting them rule you. You should be able to try again whenever you desire.
I'll be rooting for you. Ah, but I must get going, I fear. The day is getting old and I still have a number of things that I need to do before it ends.

[He brightens up, completely unaware that there may be something more to it.]
Do you also teach?

[He got bullied.]

Was changing classes not an option?

[He gives the other a bright smile. That was well said!]
I'll do my best!

It was very nice meeting you, Ruca-kun.
