You're right. I've got about ten other unlisted traits that run along the lines of "undesirable", but I guess I could bring up his weight and eye color.
[ Dang.. This poor guy is not only getting dragged by someone he knows, but also by a complete stranger in another world who has never even done as much as meet him..
Such a cruel fate. ]
I'm not sure there are any tan guys with white hair here though, so maybe that by itself is enough. That guy wouldn't happen to be named Amakusa though, right? [ Because then there might be another problem entirely. ]
Not unless he's running around with an alias and believe me, it'd probably be a stupid one. [ Like "Bigus Dickis" or "Silver Magnum" and she'd know immediately if it was him. ]
Running around with an alias does sound like something Amakusa would do. [ Now she's thinking about it, honestly. He'd probably find it really cool, even though Ange knows it'd just be ridiculous..
She rolls her eyes before at least clarifying to this other person: ]
That's my dumb bodyguard from back home. But I haven't seen him either in the entire year I've been here now. [ Clearly just the most reassuring and normal thing to tell someone who's new here.. The thought that they might be stuck here for an entire year.. Either Ange doesn't realise she just dropped that on the other, or she knows and she's just real casual about it anyway. ]
Oh, I'm sure he's probably just glad to be rid of me.
[ Ange pulls her shoulders up into a casual shrug. She sure doesn't seem bothered about that idea, apparently. ]
He probably made up some sort of excuse as to how he lost me to avoid getting into trouble and has moved on to the next thing. Bodyguards are just there for the pay they get, after all. It's not like they really care. Especially not enough to start some sort of.. [ She makes a vague gesture with one hand before finding the right words. ] Some sort of multidimensional investigation into a kidnapping case, I guess.
The girl is quiet for a moment, slowly blinking at the other. Like she's trying to process this, but can't find anything in her head that matches up to the words enough for her to be able to understand. ]
What sort of bodyguard relationship do you usually see in movies..?
[ Ange figures that 'guy who protects you and screws off when he doesn't get paid anymore' like she mentioned is the only kind of bodyguard relationship there is, hence her confusion.. ]
There's a part of Ange that hates having to admit that she knows so very little about actual pop culture. Showing yourself being socially ignorant feels too much like a weakness. A vulnerability. ]
Is it that important to know about it? [ Hence why this is the only possible path here. Defence. ]
[ Maybe not in general, but now Ange certainly is imagining someone fantasizing about her and Amakusa.. Gosh, she really hopes no one did during their travels. It makes stuff so awkward in hindsight. It makes her roll her eyes. ]
Those are clearly people who have absolutely no idea about how that kind of thing works in reality. I'm pretty sure any random piece of vegetable out there is more attractive than Amakusa is. Who is even hiring bodyguards based on anything but how good they are at their job?
At least Ange is saying it in the most straightforward, seemingly unaffected way. It's not like she minds people shit talking rich people. Ange shit talks rich people, and she's one of them! ]
And I can't imagine hiring a bodyguard for such dumb reasons. Those other rich people sound like a bunch of weirdos. [ To put it mildly!! ] Though I guess it wouldn't be surprising. Most of them have always been a bunch of weirdos from the start.

Chain isn't really one to react with shock to something like that, though she can't say it's the most encouraging bit of news she's ever heard. ]
If you've been here a year, you'd think this bodyguard of yours would have tried harder to do his job. [ There are probably circumstances, but. Wow. ]
