After all, she couldn't heal as much as she could. If it was a mall cut, she could handle. As for everything else, it seemed like a weaker version of what she could do. Giving a sigh, she closed her eyes before trying to freeze the ground before them. And yet, it seemed she could only cover a small bit around her. It was a shame, really. She thought she could provide some assistance to the people here. However, that seemed to be a fruitless pursuit.
"Why would it bother me?" If anything, Hiei is more concerned for her comfort without the abilities that she was used to possessing. He still had enough that taking care of her safety is something he feels confident in at least, but if she feels wronged by the loss of her abilities...
Well, it wasn't like he could really do much about it. No one in a seat of power had shown their faces yet, so there is little they can do about it. Hiei takes a new bit of meat off of his skewer, eyes narrowed slightly in thought. He wonders for a moment if there is anything they can do like 'training' in order to re-strengthen her abilities as much as possible.
"If it bothers you..." And only if it bothers her - "It might be something that you are able to train back up with time."
She wanted to remark how it was because he is her brother. No matter what he says, he cares about her deeply and would do anything to keep her safe. It would bother him that most of her abilities are gone. However, she will keep that to herself as she was reminded of what her crime was. Despite knowing who he was and what the crime entails, she still doesn't want to say anything for the sake of Hiei's comfort. Instead, she'll just take a deep breath in before lowering her head.
"But...just a little bit. I'm not a fighter and without my healing abilities, I don't want to be useless." As she said those words, she winced. It was a reality that she didn't want to face but it was something she had to do.
"Your value is not only in what you can do for others." Says the fire demon with exactly zero self-value - but do as he says, not as he does, Yukina. He's saying it because, to him, her happiness is more valuable than what she is able to do for them healing-wise. Aside from that - "I can heal quickly on my own, still. And Kurama knows more than all of us combined about plants and healing."
So there is back up, and back up that he has put to use instead of bothering Yukina to heal him over and over again.
"You could learn." Because of course Hiei will never not advocate for her to learn enough to protect herself at least.
"Beyond that, there may be more to do here that you aren't aware of, yet."
That was easier said than done. Yukina wasn't a fighter; she was a healer. She knew that without her healing abilities, what else could she do here. While she knew there were plenty of other things that she could do, it wasn't the same. As she lowered her head, she gave a small nod.
"I suppose I could try to fight but..."
The idea of hurting another human being just seemed so cruel in her eyes. She wasn't like the other ice maidens whose hearts were made of ice. She couldn't handle the pain that comes with doing such a thing. However, if she has to, then she will.
"...What other things do you think I should be learning here...?"
"Kurama, Yusuke and I can do the majority of that. But it wouldn't hurt to at least know some self-defense, would it?" He did not expect Yukina to turn in to Touya all of a sudden - hell, he wouldn't know the beginning of how to teach her, but something was better than nothing. And she was his sister, so.. of course he was going to at least try to get her to learn something along those lines.
"I don't know, yet." Nor was he going to tell her what to learn, but there is equally no way he is telling her that. It would make his motivations too damn obvious.
"Until we know more about how this place works, it may end up better to lay low."

Not unless she did it the old-fashioned way.
"I hope that doesn't bother you."
