"They do that sometimes. Suddenly its a holiday and the whole town is all about that and nothing else. I haven't been here long enough if they come at the same time every year or not.

"I stopped asking them real questions pretty early. At first I thought they just didn't trust us enough to give real answers. Now...I think the theory that they aren't really real makes sense. Maybe all they can do is predetermined."

He shrugs, "Weird that it suddenly includes crime. I wonder if its a Chosen doing something or just the, uh, whatever update caused the city to get bigger."

Well, he knows of one Chosen wrangling them into crimes, but he's not sure how much an effect she really has.
