Who: Scott Summers and members of TWAT (Teenagers With Abilities and Talents) Club. Or any teenager that just stops by really.
Where: Roof of the club building
What: Teenagers with abilities or maybe no real abilities hanging out on the rooftop and eating food. Talking. Doing club stuff.
Warnings: Probably none.

[Maybe you're already part of TWAT club and read the message that Scott sent out to everyone, basically stating that they're having a meeting this Saturday to just hang out and meet new members. Or you saw one of the flyers around town that mentioned about having a meeting. Either way, the meeting is held at the rooftop of the club building, so just come. No food or anything required. He's a good leader like that, yeah. Definitely.]

[Why did you come early, god.

Well, anyone that is one of those people that like to come early to events, Scott's putting you to work. Maybe it's just helping getting the food out on the tables, or bringing up chairs or tables up to the rooftop. Either way, work needs to be done and setup is still in progress, so pair up with other TWAT members or whatever to get things ready. Thanks, Scott appreciates it. Probably.

Also, if you have your own food or brought a game of some sort, that's cool. He definitely isn't going to say no. Go set that up.]

[Once the meeting starts and Scott gives some basic speech and welcoming new people to TWAT Club (in which he wasn't nervous at all shut up), people are more than welcome to just eat the pretty decent spread laid out in the tables. Stuff like chips, pizza, rice balls, ramen, probably some mixture of American and Japanese food because he's him and his girlfriend is Kotone, so yeah. There's also a little sign or note in front of the tables that states 'provided by cooking club, so join us. ✨'

Since this is a place filled with teenagers and abilities... Scott probably has encouraged people to show off their powers a little. JUST DON'T BLOW SOMETHING UP it's okay, he's talking about himself too. Of course, he's not forcing anyone to show off their powers and everything, but he sort of hopes people are feeling more comfortable to do so. That is the purpose of his club and everything.

There's also a random cornhole game set up. Don't ask.]

[Feel like being a nice person and help clean up? Nice. Scott isn't forcing anyone to stay after to do so, but he appreciates the help. It's mostly just taking tables down and clearing out the trash. Anyone that stays can probably take home some of the leftovers. So, that's a nice bonus.

Maybe you just want to sit on the ground and enjoy the evening a little. He's not judging.]

[He's ducked out of a party to find and hang out with Shinjiro once before, so when the people are starting to get to him it just seems natural to wander over towards him. Or maybe it was the fact that they were friends and hung out some in that fake world. But Levi finds himself taking a seat at the edge of the roof near Shinji. He sighs, people were exhausting.

After a moment he looks over to the other.]

Uh, hi. Is it okay for me to sit here?

[While he's not sure he'd call Levi a friend- after all, they know next to nothing about each other- he's definitely become some sort of constant. While they don't go out of their way to hang out, they sure end up in the same place more often than not. It's like all those punks and wanna-be gang members or tough guys or the people who get dragged into seedy places that he'd see night after night behind the train station. Just an expected part of the atmosphere.

And so he nods at Levi's question, gesturing vaguely with a hand.]

Sure. It ain't my roof.

[And, knowing Levi's dislike of crowds and socialization and yearn for anything else, he reaches into a pocket to pull out a slightly crumpled pack of cigarettes, offering it out towards him wordlessly.]

[He nods and gratefully takes a cigarette.]

Thanks a lot. I needed something to take the edge off. Um, do you have a lighter?

Oh, yeah--

[He takes a moment to start fumbling in his coat pockets, before producing one.] It's almost out so you might have to try it a few times. Sometimes shaking it a bit helps.

[He doesn't know if it actually helps, but hey. It feels like it does?]

So do you got weird powers, or just showing up to hang?

[He takes the lighter. It takes a few tries but he eventually lights the cigarette, takes a long drag and hands the lighter back to Shinjiro.]

Scott said I was part of the club. I know a little magic, though, but it's not much. I don't really use it.

Yeah that's how he gets people.

[Scott Summers, pointing at people and saying "you're in" like he's lining up a dodgeball match. Though it certainly shows results ]

What kinda magic? I figured you just did the gun thing.

I'm more comfortable with the gun thing.

[He shrugs.]

It's mostly combat magic. I can start fires but I'm not good enough with it to light a cigarette without setting myself on fire. I can rot things, or...

[Wait no that's probably too gruesome.]

...uh, I can talk to rats, crows and frogs. A few other things.

[Talk about more than meets the eye. His brows go up as the list goes on. Fire, talking to some animals- rotting things? He can imagine that one without asking.

So I stead he gives a short, humorless laugh, sitting up slightly.]

So what, you some kind of witch? Casting spells, talking to frogs and rats?

No...I mean, I guess yes? I just learned it in the last few days before I came here when everything went to shit.

[Marina was probably a witch under that definition. It didn't have the same connotation in his world, though.]

You been using it at all here, or nah?

[No judgment either way. From everything he's picked up about Levi's home world, he was in the middle of an absolute shit show. Avoiding using insane powers you don't understand is probably the route most people would take.]

...And did the frogs ever have anything good to say?

Remember when that big octopus monster showed up? I used some of it then. Both times.

Heh, not really. They tend to be pretty surely if I talk to them. The rat things in the caves said the crystals were protective, though, which I guess if I understood earlier I could have sped things up.

Man, there was so much shit going on with that... I don't think I saw, but good to know.

[Then again, at least for the second round with the monster, Shinjiro'd been front and center while most things happened behind. So he didn't see a whole lot of anything except tentacles and glowing rocks. But whatever.]

I guess if you're gonna practice any of that stuff this is as good a place as any.

Y'know a member of our team back home could talk to dogs, kinda. I feel like they were probably a bit nicer than the rats

I kept back most of the time, but there were so damn many of those things.

[He's glad they're gone, but does expect it to happen again since apparently it was spread from something.]

I dunno. I'd be perfectly fine if I could just never use it again.

[He takes a long drag.]

With dogs? That sounds more useful...or at least nicer. Rats aren't really bad or anything but they're just animals so they're not very smart.
