After all, I'm pretty sure that whatever brought us here doesn't really care about this whole crime business. It's just a convenient excuse. Did you know that some people didn't even actually commit the crime listed on their parchment, or have something incredibly ridiculous listed that isn't a crime in the first place?
One person I know has their crime listed as lying.
Not even one particular important lie. Just lying in general. I don't know what things are like where you come from, but you'd pretty much have to put the entire world population in prison if that became an offence at that level.
If you're saying you'd make things worse for them, you'd make it easier for me.
I've already been looking for a way out of this place for almost a year now, but it's rough. Whatever sort of beings are in control of this place, it seems they run a relatively tight ship on covering things up.
But finding said weakness isn't that easy. I've been looking pretty much everywhere I could for that entire time. I think the closest we got to finding a weakness was when someone blew up city hall and this place got all weird soon after.
Maybe Ange realises that's not really a comprehensive explanation, despite it being the truth of the matter.. So after a moment it shows she's typing again, and then a second message is added. ]
There's a council here that constantly tries to punish us. I think he was trying to blow them up in particular.
It used to look way different only a month or so ago. Way smaller. More medieval too. It's like blowing that up broke something about this place, as odd as that might sound.
It means either this place is very fragile, or it's just that town hall was a particularly sensitive spot to hit like that.
[ Likely the latter, she thinks. After all, they had been here for such a long time, messing around in many ways, and nothing ever changed in the meantime.. ]
Either way, there is a whole lot more to this place than meets the eye. If you ever want to talk about it, you can contact me over these things, or come find me somewhere. I'm always looking into this place and its secrets. It's just about the only interesting thing to do here.
