[It's something he always dreads, if only because the guy cares too much. A meetup with his Uncle. They'd initially been distant, but Kotetsu had gotten dramatically more involved after the deaths of his parents. (How did they die? Who were they? Weirdly, these are questions he never thinks to ask. It's just What Happened, and it's Well Known, and there's no use in going over all those details.) While Shinjiro had always pulled back, fiercely independent-- he at least owed the guy these checkups.
Which is why he's hanging outside at one of the local cafes, idly poking at his drink with a spoon, and waiting for Kotetsu to show up. Just one of their once-or-twice a week meetups, how is everything going, are you sure you don't need help, I'm worried about you, etc etc etc. He'll argue that he's doing fine, and Kotetsu will get that Sad but Accepting look, and he'll be free for a few more days to do nothing with his life.
After all, Aldrip is perfect. There's no chance of failure.
