I would have loved to meet Astralin, it sounds as if he was gentle, and kind.

[ She would try her best not to upset whatever system was here before. But maybe some new things would be good for the space, and good for the people working here. She likes the thought of being helpful.]

I see, of course I have concerns of what is happening, but I can’t imagine I have all the questions I need to ask at this moment.

I don't have all the answers, but if you're concerned about anything, you can always talk to me. Astralin used to lend me his ear when I felt troubled. He was one of the kindest people I know.

[ A visit to Astralin and his animals always lifted her spirits and soothed her worries. He would brew her a cup of tea and they would sit and talk. Maybe that's why being on the farm is comforting to her even now, she can feel his presence and the love he put into looking after the land and animals. She hopes Haru will find the place to her liking just as much. ]

I suppose I am just a little concerned…

[How does she even begin. She had heard a few things from her posting, and a few things from other persona users.

There was no doubt the farm would be somewhere Haru would thrive, she’s a natural born green thumb and she finds this sort of manual labor soothing. She’s eager to make friends, and find her own comfort here. ]

The black stuff, I have been hearing about it here and there since my arrival, and I cannot deny that it unsettles me. Do you know much about it?

I don't know much about it myself, but I've noticed the animals have been restless. They tell me something is wrong with the land.

[ While they didn't speak to her in words, whenever she took them out to graze, Marianne can sense the horses are more agitated than usual. Animals have keen senses, and it worries her to see her friends uneasy. It may be for the best that she keep them on the farm for a while. She prays it will pass as the season passes. ]

Animals always sense something before humans, I've heard of things like that.

[ She doesn't mean to feel just as restless, truly. She merely means to gather more information. She taps her chin in thought. ]

Do you think something bad is coming this way, Marianne-san?

Yes, they're sensitive and intelligent. If they're worried, it worries me too.

[ Animals have a sixth sense when it comes to these things. Marianne trusts them more than herself. ]

I get the feeling there will be more unrest...but ah, I don't mean to make Aldrip seem like an unwelcoming place. This isn't the usual.

[ Seeing Haru's worried expression, she tries to offer reassurance. The land is barren now but spring will come and with it, she hopes Aldrip will flourish just as it had been when she first arrived. ]

I trust your take on this. I do not want to make my first impression a bad one. It seems it must be a storm that should be weathered.

[ She looks back to the garden beds. ]

[ Marianne thinks Astralin would be happy to know that his beds are being cared for again, and she looks forward to seeing what will sprout when spring comes. ]
