Who: Scott Summers and anyone stopping by
Where: Scott's new home
What: Irresponsible teenager from 1980s America wants to throw a party like he sees in the movies. Also something something surviving the maze and dealing with the locals being cold suddenly. Also, it's Scott's and Jinx's birthday! Sort of. They're combining it.
Warnings: Underage drinking, teenage stupidity probably, will update as things continue!


[Maybe you saw Scott's post earlier about hosting a party, or just come across his house, the door's open and everything! Scott probably won't mind if it's someone he dislikes, but he'll just have to suck it up anyway! It's probably good there's not a lot of furniture in the house yet, leaving the space more open for people to mingle and play games. If it gets too crowded, well, there's always the front yard and a couple of rooms to hide yourself in.

Of course, it isn't a party without:

Food: Scott's only scourged up snacks on his end, along with a couple of pizza boxes and sandwiches, so potluck style, bring something that will amaze the other guests or make use of the bathrooms in the house looking at you Mitama.

Drinks: Along with some water and juice, it wouldn't be a party without alcohol. There's a keg of beer that he somehow acquired that people can pour into their cup. Sadly, he doesn't really have any other alcoholic drinks unless someone else decides to bring some!

Games: Any stereotypical game you can think of will probably be played, from Truth or Dare, to Seven Minutes in Heaven, Never Have I Ever, Would you Rather, Spin the Bottle, and etc. There's also a table where people can set up a game of beer pong at.]

Hey, Jinx.

[ Ange leans forward from where she's sitting. Something about her seems a little bit more playful than the usual. In fact, if Jinx has a moment to look over mid-mini-temper-tantrum, she might even notice the corners of Ange's lips curling up into an amused smile. ]

That's exactly what a supervillain would say, you know. [ Yes, she thinks this is VERY funny. Leave Ange and her inner amusement alone! ]

( ange isn't the only one between them who is tugging her lips into an obnoxious sneer. and while she won't admit it out loud, she enjoys this little possibly dark side of her. at least this is what jinx is reading from her perspective. not inching herself off the ground, she cocks her head to get a better view of the girl -- voice dipping into a lulled yet ominous coo: )

We're all monsters here, Lil' Butterfly. None of us are innocent and this place?

( she lifts up a hand in a lazy notion to gesture their entire surroundings. )

Knows how ugly we are on the inside. Some are just a lil' messier than others. Some don't think it but that's 'cause they're in denial. But they'll catch up sooner or later.

( and with that out of the way, her entire tone and face twists into a complete one-eighty by showing a light-hearted grin -- voice pitching higher and cuter like an innocent child. )

— And I won!!

( she bellows with her arms shooting straight up in the air. )

I told ya I'd make you smile and I did...! Ooooohhh yeah, I'm cool, I'm cool ♫.

[ Ange should probably be a little more concerned about that first part. But-- you know, she feels like she's got a pretty alright grasp on what Jinx is like at this point, and this is just one of those little things that's part of it. Not like Ange will deny that she herself is messed up in some ways too, but Jinx is just a little bit more off her rocker about it compared to Ange herself.

So rather than getting even slightly surprised or fussy about Jinx's dark monologue there, she instead just lets out a huff when the girl continues with the more lighthearted half of it.

T-That puff wasn't a laugh, okay! You can't prove it! Come back with a search warrant!! ]

If you say that any louder or higher with excitement, you'll proceed right into the sound ranges only dolphins can hear.

[ Yes, of course Ange has to make a deadpan remark to that. What else does she do? This is her default safe response to hide behind, thank you very much. ]

Also, you're ridiculous. [ It doesn't necessarily sound like a bad thing.

Or rather -- when Ange intends to insult someone, she usually sounds a little more direct about it than this. ]

Awww, don't be a spoilsport 'cause I did what I said I was gonna do. ( she drops her arms down to plop on her belly, returning to sway her feet back and forth -- except with more giddy-up. )

( jinx then reaches over to poke the tip of ange's shoes, purposely jamming her finger with force to see if she could feel any her toes through the leather. )

Boy, I can tell you don't play games much. But ya live, ya learn!
