Who: Scott Summers and anyone stopping by
Where: Scott's new home
What: Irresponsible teenager from 1980s America wants to throw a party like he sees in the movies. Also something something surviving the maze and dealing with the locals being cold suddenly. Also, it's Scott's and Jinx's birthday! Sort of. They're combining it.
Warnings: Underage drinking, teenage stupidity probably, will update as things continue!


[Maybe you saw Scott's post earlier about hosting a party, or just come across his house, the door's open and everything! Scott probably won't mind if it's someone he dislikes, but he'll just have to suck it up anyway! It's probably good there's not a lot of furniture in the house yet, leaving the space more open for people to mingle and play games. If it gets too crowded, well, there's always the front yard and a couple of rooms to hide yourself in.

Of course, it isn't a party without:

Food: Scott's only scourged up snacks on his end, along with a couple of pizza boxes and sandwiches, so potluck style, bring something that will amaze the other guests or make use of the bathrooms in the house looking at you Mitama.

Drinks: Along with some water and juice, it wouldn't be a party without alcohol. There's a keg of beer that he somehow acquired that people can pour into their cup. Sadly, he doesn't really have any other alcoholic drinks unless someone else decides to bring some!

Games: Any stereotypical game you can think of will probably be played, from Truth or Dare, to Seven Minutes in Heaven, Never Have I Ever, Would you Rather, Spin the Bottle, and etc. There's also a table where people can set up a game of beer pong at.]

[ Mitama doesn't mention it, but she definitely takes note of the familiar necklace. Ah, so she's Scott's sweetheart! The boy's got good taste, she's definitely cute. ]

A good question! I do enjoy my job as the Coordinator, but I assume that's not what you have in mind.

[ Serving magical girls in return for the means to simply stay alive doesn't exactly put food on the table, after all. Her chances of living long enough to have to find a real job are slim, however, so she hasn't given it much thought. Now Mitama lets out a hum as she gives it some consideration. ]

[Like, if you already have a job, she wants to hear about it! Kotone's worked quite a few part-time jobs in her life, but, well... ditto on not living long enough for a real job.]

Oh, wait, no, what kind of game show would you host!! [That's way more interesting.]

[ Oh no, she won't miss an opportunity to advertise her business! She needs more clients, after all, so if she can spread awareness of it, she'll do it at any cost. ]

I can strengthen other people's abilities and enhance their powers!

[ Basically, she's Igor sans the nose. But fear not, she'll answer the other question, too! ]

Maybe the ones where you have to guess a word or answer a question to win big money? Or, or! The ones where you get to prank celebrities! There are a lot of fun options for those~

[She tilts her head with curiosity, brows furrowing just a little. Okay, that's actually a really interesting job, not like working concessions at a movie theater or serving drinks at a café. But also...]

What's the catch?

[Like sure, it's not that weird or unheard of. But it's definitely not something free! Even Igor charged for his services. Charged a LOT for his services.]

No catch at all~ Could a lovely girl like myself run anything but a perfectly reputable business?

[ That... is not the entire truth, because there are certain side-effects to her procedure, but overall? The client gets what they want, she gets paid, and everyone is happy, so she doesn't really consider it that much of a "catch". ]

... Well, unless you consider the fact you have to pay for my services one, but that's why we call it a job and not volunteer work, no~?

Oh! No, that makes sense.

[A girl's gotta charge for her services! And honestly, it makes a lot more sense to have to pay for that kind of thing. There's a part of her that wants to ask if Mitama knows about Igor and the Velvet Room, but if she doesn't know, ugh... Kotone doesn't want to have to explain that. Maybe she'll see if Akira or Yu want to talk about it.]

I don't think we've met formally, right? What's your name? So I know who to ask for if I want to use your services.

[Powering up her Personas could be useful! But it comes with the catch of having to potentially explain her Personas, which again... ugh. Effort.]

[ She knows she will need to learn a lot about other people's powers before she can achieve the same levels of adjustment ability she can perform on magical girls, but she's happy to hear more about those! Mitama nods, pleased with the suggestion Kotone might become her client in the future, and claps her hands together as she introduces herself. ]

Mitama Yakumo! You must be Kotone-chan, right? I've heard a lot about you from Scott~

[ Yep, she's just gonna throw Scott under that bus─ I MEAN, help him by gently prodding the girl about their relationship. Smooth. ]

Oh, really?

[Huh. Okay, maybe she shouldn't be surprised, though. It's not like she hadn't spoken to Akira about Scott before, so it only makes sense...? Maybe. She has no idea what Scott would want to tell other people about her though, so she just laughs and shrugs.]

What'd he tell you? Wait, how'd you know?

[She doesn't seem embarrassed, at least, just surprised.]

Judging by what he said, all I had to do was look for the cutest girl in the room~!

[ Mitama winks at her with a smile. Is she making it up on the spot? Yes. But also, even if Scott didn't exactly tell her that, she's fairly certain that's what he thinks, so that means it's not really a lie, right? ]

[She snorts a surprised laugh, cheeks flushing just the slightest bit pink at the compliment.]

[Because that seems like the funniest way to respond. Still, she gives Mitama a bit of a pout.]

C'mon, what's the real reason? I know that can't be it.

Aww, why not?

[ But she laughs, knowing the jig is up. Oh well, she still managed to say her piece! ]

Well, it just so happened I was there when he was deciding to give you the necklace you're wearing right now!

[ Normally, she'd happily take credit for being the one to give him the idea... but just this once, she'll keep that to herself. Call it part of the service! She'll definitely add that to Scott's tab. ]
