house party (open log)
Who: Scott Summers and anyone stopping by
Where: Scott's new home
What: Irresponsible teenager from 1980s America wants to throw a party like he sees in the movies. Also something something surviving the maze and dealing with the locals being cold suddenly. Also, it's Scott's and Jinx's birthday! Sort of. They're combining it.
Warnings: Underage drinking, teenage stupidity probably, will update as things continue!
[Maybe you saw Scott's post earlier about hosting a party, or just come across his house, the door's open and everything! Scott probably won't mind if it's someone he dislikes, but he'll just have to suck it up anyway! It's probably good there's not a lot of furniture in the house yet, leaving the space more open for people to mingle and play games. If it gets too crowded, well, there's always the front yard and a couple of rooms to hide yourself in.
Of course, it isn't a party without:
Food: Scott's only scourged up snacks on his end, along with a couple of pizza boxes and sandwiches, so potluck style, bring something that will amaze the other guests or make use of the bathrooms in the houselooking at you Mitama.
Drinks: Along with some water and juice, it wouldn't be a party without alcohol. There's a keg of beer that he somehow acquired that people can pour into their cup. Sadly, he doesn't really have any other alcoholic drinks unless someone else decides to bring some!
Games: Any stereotypical game you can think of will probably be played, from Truth or Dare, to Seven Minutes in Heaven, Never Have I Ever, Would you Rather, Spin the Bottle, and etc. There's also a table where people can set up a game of beer pong at.]
[ooc: This is an open post, so please feel free to make your own top level!]

[Meant genuinely! That is pretty impressive, even if this guy clearly doesn't need his ego fed any more. (Although is that last one a mutation, or just a nerd who studies a lot...?)
Now, Kotone has never been accused of being a show-off. Of the Persona wildcards, that's way more Akira's thing. Showing off is usually a lot of effort, and it really doesn't really matter to her if people underestimate her. She can almost hear Dazai telling her that it's a good thing to be underestimated.
But. Exceptions can and will be made when it could potentially be funny. Maybe it's Odin's influence -- she hasn't had him in the front of her mind for a while, since he doesn't have any healing spells -- or maybe it's just the simple desire to look cool in front of one of Scott's friends(?) in the hopes that he'll tell Scott about her, but... It could be kind of funny to see what a telepath's reaction to her Personas would be.]
Can you read my mind? [she asks with that same curiosity, only the slightest hint of mischief in her eyes as she gazes up at him. The mischief is more pronounced should he actually delve in there, an undercurrent of harmless playfulness infusing just about everything she's thinking right now -- which is tinged by Odin demanding that she, Make this boy treat you as an equal. You are his peer, if not above him! which she seems to be largely ignoring. Her own thoughts are more along the lines of, Well, being top of my class doesn't really matter here so we can't bond over that. Telepathy sounds like it would be really hard to have! But telekinesis could be useful. You could change a CD without getting up!]

He does narrow his eyes at her question, though. People usually want him out of their heads. But then again, who knows if she even has telepaths like him in her world.]
Yeah... [He says it with some degree of suspicious hesitance, like he thinks the question is a trap. Which, to be clear, he absolutely does.]
What, are you gonna ask me what number you're thinking of or how many fingers you're holding behind your back? My power is a little more than that.

Still, she can't help but giggle a little at his clear suspicion, eyes sparkling as she finally twists the top off the bottle she'd grabbed and takes a sip. It really isn't very good, Quentin was right about that at least. Mournfully, she has to wonder if spending all that time with Dazai and his group of weirdos has ruined her taste...
Oh, right.]
What kind of challenge should I give you, then?

[Now just a goddamn minute...! Since when was any of this about a challenge? Actually, for that matter, what is it about? Why was she even asking??]
Hold on, you're not one of those weirdos who messes with other people's powers, are you? Or maybe you've got some freaky mind thing going on in there [He points at her accusingly and then does some wiggly finger gesture to indicate "freakiness".] and you're just trying to bait me so I get all surprised and shooketh and whatnot.
[He folds his arms and looks down his nose. She really thought she was doing something there, didn't she? Ha! Gotta wake up pretty early to get one over on Quentin Quire!] Well, think again, girly, 'cause I'm not falling for it! I thought I felt something fishy going on up there.
