Emet-Selch rolls his eyes and gives the tablet a little shake. ]
I was
hoping
it was finally working. It seems all it was doing is detecting its kin.
[ And it seems to be beeping a bit faster during the brief moment it's closer to the other tablet. He tries holding it out to confirm. ]
...Why does it only function near another device?
