But this kind of thing does happen, too. Sometimes, our friends have trouble controlling their powers. Due to that, and sometimes because of misunderstandings on top of that, we end up having to defend ourselves against people we care about. [He remembers when Jean's powers went out of control, and when Rogue shapeshifted into various enemies of theirs after a breakdown...]

It's never easy. But I'm just glad it's resolved.
