[She struggles, but, well. She can't. She's beaten but good. She might have cracked ribs. She's definitely not functional right now.]

[And then she starts coughing, trying to force air in, even as it makes her ribs hurt worse... By the time it subsides, her voice is weaker again.]

I can't... let my mistakes hurt others again...!
