If only Hiei really understood why something so stupid and simple bothered him so much. It isn't like he's had very much experience in life, not to mention anything that might be able to be described as even tangentially romantic before. Which is exactly why he's missed that attempt at a demonstration as well, still scowling up at Kuwabara. It's.. normal, despite everything around here that is very much not normal at all between them at the moment.
At least until Kurama mentions they can go through together, Hiei breaks his stare up at Kuwabara to fix red eyes on the fox, an equal parts confused and irritated sneer crossing his face at the thought of it. For a moment he looks back at Kuwabara, as if quietly promising him that they'd catch up to this 'later' before turning back to Kurama.
"If it is such a child's amusement why do you think I would want to be involved?" Come on Kurama, he's clearly not here for a kiddy amusement!!!
