"Who cares, this place will not be permanent if I have my way." He says this as though he hasn't already made some friends with a few people here simply by chance or his own begrudging kind of charm. He is gruff and tends to say things he does not mean, but he is far from the child who only knew and spread violence that he had once been.
At times, he misses that child if he's honest. Relying on brutality was much simpler than working around stupid things like politics or his own emotions.
