[kakashi knew what scott's power was, but this is his first time seeing it and holy shit, what a blast. part of the monster is straight up blown away and it staggers. kakashi takes initiative, trusting that scott won't blast him, and leaps from the tree, drawing his sword as he does. he plunges the sword deep into the beast, and lets gravity do the rest as he falls to the ground, gouging a huge hole in the creature as he does so.

ultimately, the remains of the beast fall too, leaving kakashi standing at the base of a big pile of oozing plant matter.]
