I'm not sure if there's really a way to "get out", at least, not in the sense you mean.

You used to be able to go to Rumpitur, but lately, even if you leave the bounds of Aldrip, there's nowhere to really go. The other cities are closed off from us. The desert is impossible to cross, but I don't know of anyone that's attempted to leave by boat. But all of those options are still "here." The only way home seems to be at the whim of the Council, and most here aren't exactly trying to stay on their good side.
