[ The sound of a gunshot is pretty alarming under the current circumstances, where Ange truly can't tell who is even firing it or where it's coming from, but she just forces herself to lie as still as possible as she can on the sand. Getting up will only make her even more of a target while hardly anyone can see shit right now.
It's a bit of a nerve-wrecking thing while she's right underneath some sort of monster whose shape she can't even fully see in the storm, but Ange has been through scarier things. She can handle this. Just don't move. Just calmly breathe, even as the creature rears up above her, letting out an awful shriek as it's hit by the bullet. It doesn't seem like nearly enough to down it indeed, but at least Caitlyn is right in one sense.
Which is that the creature slowly climbs off Ange, instead turning in the direction where the bullet came from, staring to head towards Caitlyn instead. ]
