Hiei takes a cursory glance at their surroundings after Kurama's offer. Nothing seemed outright threatening (yet, anyway), and he's already scanned the nearby area with the Jagan just to see if anything stuck out as 'out of the ordinary. Strangely, nothing there had seemed particularly of note either, though it did somewhat soothe him that there was no lingering power over them that he could clearly see or sense.

A Toguro or Sensui, as he would term it, had not shown their face just yet.

But it does make him more at ease that they did not need to linger so closeby to one another in their explorations, at least. The two of them were both still strong enough that most threats would not be hard to dispatch with.

"We can meet back later. I don't think there is anything lingering over us that is so threatening that we cannot be apart."
