1. Scavenger hunting
Emet-Selch frowns at the list he's been given for this scavenger hunt. Collect a few items, take a few photographs, clear a few monsters for peace of mind. Simple enough tasks. He notices that a few of them will require a partner, however...2. Cooking competition
He looks up from his list and looks around apprehensively. He doesn't have many friends and he's reluctant to make them. But Hythlodaeus would urge him to try. So he approaches someone and clears his throat awkwardly.
"Do you need help completing this?"
He waves his sheet of paper in case it's not clear what he's talking about.
Cooking! Emet-Selch is not a professional chef (he's not even an average chef) but he knows how to cook food for a household - something which may surprise those who see only a dour man. Since there are so many people participating, he tries to blend in with the rest of the competitors as he works on recreating a popular Garlean dish: Glory Be Soup. He ladles portions out in small bowls and sets them out in front of his workspace for people to sample as they walk by.3. Glitch in the Matrix
If that goes down well, he'll also try making borscht and ukha. Earth-based characters may recognise all three as Russian-based meals.
As if they didn't have enough problems on their minds, things are still acting up around town. Emet-Selch wakes up to the extremely rude shock of his hair turning completely white. Then there's the matter of doors not leading where he wants them to, of familiar streets turning into foreign ones, and shops mysteriously moving.4. Wildcard
After getting lost several times on his way to the local fishmonger's, he stops in the middle of the street and shouts in frustration:
"Are you quite done meddling?!"
I'm open to encountering him in the other competitions as well, and you can also combine the glitching if you want an excuse to approach an unfamiliar-looking Emet-Selch. If you're unsure, DMs are always open.
