I'm not so sure it's petty thievery that I'm looking out for. I've seldom seen anything of actual value go missing. If it's a sticky-fingered thief, then they've chosen their targets poorly. I suppose there's the idea of stealing for the thrill of the game, but... hm.

But regardless... without a fairy to be seen doing it, people are bound to start pointing fingers sooner rather than later.
