He really... doesn't want to think about the possibility of Kotone fading away right in front of him, so he doesn't. He's still frustrated and upset about her death, but he knows that getting overly upset won't help. She probably wouldn't trust him again with something like this. Ken's words come to his mind as well, but Scott decides not to talk about them just yet.

Scott nods when she mentions having only one year, just briefly wondering who in the hell told her something like that. Again, though, it doesn't really matter right now, just wanting Kotone to talk about the things she wants to talk about, especially if... he's spending these last moments with her. He can feel tears prick at the corners of his eyes, but he tries to push through it. If she managed to come back to life here for almost a whole year, there's definitely a possibility she'll be fine for one more night at least.]
