No, ditching an obligation isn't usually smart in getting what you want. It looks bad on your character.
[The petty crimes probably shouldn't be good either, but honestly, Silco appreciated if those were true. There was a time and place for petty crimes.]
If I do provide you employment and you skip without a good reason, I will fire you immediately.
