[Honestly, Kotone's kind of excited about this! She's never been to a house party, but they're all over the movies, especially the American ones. And, well, Scott's an American, so she has some pretty high expectations for fun! And more importantly, mischief. Wearing a dark orange sweater dress and short boots, she's ready for both. Just pay no attention to the gun-like Evoker holstered at her hip! It's only for emergencies.]

[Those who know Kotone can't possibly be surprised when she comes marching up to Scott's house as people are starting to arrive, precariously balancing a few different paper bags in her arms. She'd say her cooking is just okay, but she's had a lot of time to practice her baking between working with Fuuka's original cooking club back at school, and needing to fill her time in town doing something, so...
Chocolate cake, spiced apple cupcakes, sugar cookies, and chocolate truffles are added to the other food available. Listen, she knows Yu is doing some of the cooking already, and she trusts Scott to have gotten the basic party-fare, so this is her contribution! Grab them before they're gone! Also, she did take the time to do her best writing in icing Happy Birthday Scott! on the chocolate cake. Just in case anyone forgot why they're here at this party.]

[Now, Kotone's never been to a house party before, but all the movies always had music. Luckily (or unluckily) for everyone, she'd found a busted pair of speakers back in the desert that she'd slipped into her bag for later. It had been pretty easy to get the guy at the casino to fix them for her in exchange for a few simple errands -- normal protag fetch quest stuff, honestly -- so now she can be seen fiddling with them in part of the room, one of her usual red headphones on her ear as she fiddles with the small, mid-2000s-era mp3 player that's always hanging around her neck.
Apparently satisfied with whatever she was fiddling with, she plugs the mp3 player into the speakers, and suddenly there's music! Nothing newer than early 2010, weirdly, but an upbeat assortment of rap, electronic, and pop. Now, just to get some more people in to dance...]
