[She has been, what she thinks is, very careful to not talk too much about her feelings where Dohalim is concerned. Although it may be telling that aside from confirming that he is, in fact, here in this world in her conversations with the others, she has largely avoided bringing him up altogether. And fortunately, it's not as though any of the others have really asked about him.

Although she can't imagine why they even would.

Before he even speaks, she makes note of his approach. He has likely noticed it as well. That she avoids spending time with him when she can manage it. She's polite and civilised. Amicable. A step up from trying to launch herself at him when he stood and did nothing as she watched her brother surrender himself. But she still replays the scene in her head. It wouldn't be hard to repeat that.

Yet it would be wrong. It wouldn't satisfy her. It wouldn't bring Migal back. Even if it did, it still wouldn't be the right thing. But he should have been the one in that Hollowed lake. It never should have been her brother.

She shifts, stretching her arms above her head, trying to put aside some of her nerves. Every time he catches her, she feels like she's having a test administered to her. A test of her discipline, at that.]

Of course. [Kisara replies with a polite nod.] If you're asking me about food, I'll make sure I get something put together for everyone tonight. I know we've all been working pretty hard. The townspeople have been generous with their spices and stuff, too, so don't worry about it. If this has to do with laundry, I don't mind doing that, but maybe you guys should make sure you can handle that too when it's necessary.

[As if so much of her time is put toward mundane tasks. Although it's quite true that Kisara has done little more than keep herself exceedingly busy. Because apparently that's a lot easier than having long-winded conversations with people. If a nighttime protection brigade with Marc pans out, she could keep herself occupied at night, too. She thinks she might need it.]
