Their first week in this place has been disorienting at best; none of them quite seem to line up, their memories all slightly disjointed, but the discrepancy between Kisara's experience and his own is most disheartening.
He knows, of course, that it is not something to be forced. She owes him nothing, as far as he's concerned, though that does not lessen the sting. This is a part of his penance, perhaps— but even if he does not intend to ask her for forgiveness or to feel anything other than what she does, he could not help but find himself tempted by one of the many items for sale in Aldrip itself. Gifts would change little, but it might serve as a peace offering, a show of respect.
When he wanders out into the new field to sate his curiosity about what's being done, he's not surprised to find her among those who have seen fit to offer themselves to work. He does not approach her immediately, but speaks with one of the locals delegating tasks to others for a few minutes until he sees that Kisara has taken a few moments to rest. She has made an effort to avoid speaking to him alone when she can help it, but perhaps this will be public enough that she will feel less ill-at-ease— he can only hope.
He approaches then, keeping a respectful distance when he comes to a stop, a small, wrapped bundle held in one hand as his arms remain at his sides.]
